Recently downsized our home and this freezer is perfect for our 2 person household with room to spare. It was affordable and is pretty efficient. I was able to unload it and move it into place on my own, which was appreciated. Runs great so far since purchasing on Black Friday (~1 month so far). Has allowed me to make my indoor fridge freezer much less packed.

Have had freezer for 6 weeks and it's working well. I'm in a small apartment and this fits nicely in a little corner in my kitchen. Has plenty of room for the items I want to store -- please note that the cottage cheese containers in my pics is not actually cottage cheese (I didn't want anyone seeing that and thinking cottage is ok to freeze ). It's pasta sauce that I made. Also, that's not soda in the bottle but frozen water. I use it to keep my bunny cool in hot weather. Would highly recommend the freezer.

When the price dropped on this chest freezer I thought it was a really good deal. It has plenty of space to hold long term items and to free up mostly used space in our main freezer. Easy to read instructions for set up. Low maintenance is a plus. Runs quiet. Like the one shelf inside as well as the basket that can slide to either side. Stay open lid is good. The packaging was nicely designed for moving it in place and all the pieces broke away without having to use a knife. Only nitpick would be the temperature setting and info on it. There is just a min and max setting. Would have been nice to have more options or info on what is optimal. Pick up in store was a breeze and they brought it right out to my car and loaded it up. Overall the shopping experience online, the in store pickup and the product itself were and are great. We are definitely satisfied with this chest freezer.

Nice little deep freeze. It is a great size just for a bit of extra storage. Has a front set temperature adjustment. Runs quiet keeps things cool. The only downside is if it is hotter outside of the deepfreeze like mine since it is stored in the garage after opening it if around the seal is damp it can lock seal it for a bit to wear you cant open it.

Bought this 5.0 ft freezer and it’s been working great sent purchase of 2 months. Not heavy either. It has a Dail for temp ranging from minimum to max. Would b nice if instructions gave more info on Where to Set temp. Also has a Power button that lights up blue when on so make sure u press and turn On button. Overall great price for a small freezer. Size usage - I put 75# of packaged sausage from hunting and believe I still have room for a small size deer ( after processed ).

This little freezer was needed at my parents house to put in the garage so they could stock up with frozen foods and meats. My mother and myself went in looking at freezers and the name brands were $100+ higher than this freezer. I thought to myself that their was no way they were that much better than the Insignia. I have used this brand on and off since Best Buy started carrying them. It runs like a sewing machine and never makes a sound. You can't even hear it running. Temperature stays steady and it has not had any ice or frost in it. Living in a humid area like Georgia that is rare in freezers. This has been almost 18 months. I don't like to review products until they have been used a while. The way that it is made, it has more room than expected. It has a couple of baskets on each side to store smaller stuff. Which is a savior so it doesn't get buried at the bottom.

Insignia - 5.0 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer is sized practically for a family of few people. It has lightweight and is very easy to move. It practically solves our extra food storage needs. It is quite and efficient too. Best Buy sells it at a very reasonable price.

This freezer is very convenient for a small family. Not only is it quiet, it is also lightweight, easily set up, and takes up minimum space. After plugging it in, it was ready for use within a few hours.

Good little freezer for the price (got it on sale for $99). It seems to be staying very cold with little or no frost forming (over a few months now). It's very quiet and can fit a lot of stuff. Its a life saver if you have a side by side fridge (which we do) as fitting a frozen pizza in there was tough, now I have plenty of room for multiple pizza boxes and tons of other stuff.

Got this product at an awesome price. Very low noise. It's lightweight and did not notice a change in my electric bill. Big enough for a small famiy although I am a single person household. I even bought one for my sister.

This freezer was a lot bigger than I thought. It keeps cold and holds quite a bit. If you are looking for extra freezer space and a great price this is the one for you. I was not disappointed at all.

I have owed the product for about 10 days now and am very happy with it so far. Setup was easy, it fit in the small space I wanted, and cooled very quickly. I didn’t adjust the thermostat and the meats I have put in there have all been very well frozen, at least to zero degrees if not more at the factory setting. The meat takes a good three days to thaw in a normal refrigerator. The unit is ultra quiet, and seems to seal very well. The only negative I have found so far is that it has to be pulled out from the wall a few additional inches to allow the lid to fully open. That was not a problem in my case, but something that should be accounted for by someone with even tighter space requirements than myself.

Perfect little freezer for my needs. Just my wife and I and this helps out with freezer space. Always seem to fill up the fridge freezer. This keeps all our food cold. Pretty quiet and works well so far.

Our kitchen freezer went on the blink the day before we were to leave town. We were unable to schedule a repair service until after a long weekend. We looked at reviews and chose this freezer for a back up. It held everything we needed from the larger kitchen freezer and is a great size to store in a garage or other area. It worked as promised. We continued to use it for a few weeks, but do not plan to leave it on all the time, to reduce costs. The low price was a real incentive. The only issue is that it's difficult to get to items on the bottom when it's fully loaded. You need to carefully arrange things you want to access soonest.

My girlfriend and I were scoping out products in-store before Black Friday so we knew the exact look, feel, and size of the items we were considering for purchase when we stumbled upon this cute little unit. This was the cheapest and most conveniently sized freezer we had seen all day and it was exactly what we didn't know we needed. The unit currently sits out in the garage against the wall and its the perfect addition to allow a small family to buy frozen goods in bulk. It's lightweight, quick to clean, and works reliably.

We only had a small freezer in our refrigerator that didn’t have much space. This opened up a whole new world for my wife. Besides being very quiet and not being unattractive we had it filled up before the “Stay At Home” orders were put out. My wife cooked up a storm and was able to freeze many meals. It has allowed my wife to cook us healthy and nutritious food. She wanted the smaller size but is so happy I purchased the 5.0 Cu. Ft. freezer as the height is perfect.

I was hesitant about this deep freezer because I thought I needed something bigger as I’m a hunter. Turns out, there is actually quite a bit of storage space. Install and set up was easy peasy. It was ice cold in less than an hour. Price was on point as I got it on sale. I was able to fit the meat from 2 butchered deer in addition to meat I already had in the freezer. Great buy. If you get more than 4 deer in a season, I’d recommend going up in size.

Needed some extra freezer space without the large footprint. This thing holds everything. Easy set up and keeps everything frozen.

I bought this as an nice extra freezer for when the house one gets full. It is a great size and it fits at the corner of our kitchen perfectly. We have it as extra but it would be good for a family of three or four but there's nothing wrong in buying a larger size. It's great and runs so quietly. The temp is easy to adjust as the controller is right on the front. It is easy to reach the bottom of the freezer too. We love it!

low price and good performance. I haven't had any problem to install this in my garage. it's compact and light to move and install alone.
