Bought this freezer for food storage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched this Insignia chest freezer and discovered it was identical to and manufactured by the Frigidaire freezer I had wanted, but was unavailable due to the backlog from the pandemic. And, the reviews were similar to the Frigidaire brand. Ordering on line was easy, and, I got my freezer a day earlier than promised. Curbside pickup was quick and easy! I've only had it for about one month, but, so far, I'm very pleased with my purchase. At this time, I would have no problem recommending the Insignia brand and Best Buy! They made it easy to do business with them!

Good freezer for small places

This one has a nice basket to hold items near the top and is deep enough to handle larger boxes of food. I did get some frost in the corners by the hinges but there's a nice scraper included so it was super easy to remove that.

Insignia - 5.0 Cu. Ft Chest Freezer

It’s light weight, easy to move around. The exterior metal shell is surprising sturdy. It could easy support something stored on top. It started up fine, got down to 0 degrees in a few hours. And it’s quiet.

Since covid freezers have jumped drastically in price. I finally found this one on sale for 135, even though it’s small the price was good and it’s ok that it’s small the space I had for it was kind of small so it works out!

great freezer - use in our garage

We needed extra freezer room since our fridge freezer was not enough room. We have been able to take advantage of sale prices and fill our freezer. We have it in our garage with no issues whatsoever.
