Horrible experience with this freezer. Purchased new and it would not get cold enough to freeze water or keep ice frozen. After multiple emails and calls with Insignia customer support over 2 week, they determined it was defective. (duh) Now I am on hold with Best Buy trying to figure out how to return or exhange it. I'll end up paying more for delivery/pick-up fees than the entire freezer is worth. Seemed like a good deal when I bought it, but I guess you get what you pay for.

This freezer turns on every 12 to 15 minutes. I'm waiting for my electricity bill to see how much more I have to pay.
Not sure if this is normal for such a small freezer. It's only 25% full and set to medium on the dial knob as suggested by manufacturer.
I believe it should not turn on more frequently than 30 minutes.

This freezer is complete garbage. It started out working perfectly fine; however, on three different occasions it stopped freezing completely. Nothing changed, no power outage, nothing except the freezer stopped working. Between the three occasions costing us more than the cost of the freezer. We also lost 6 months supply of breast milk as a result of the freezer being faulty. Temperature went up to 50 degrees.

The freezer was damaged one size , it was smashed. My husnand did not wanted to repackage and bring it back to the store, he said to much work to repackage and take it back to the store. We decided to keep it even looks ugly. Not happy with this order!!

I purchased this freezer, hooked it up, and everything seemed to be working perfectly. Not one week later, I went back into it to find everything thawed and the freezer barely maintaining a chill. Not sure if I got a lemon but beware. Don't put any food you aren't ready to lose into this freezer.

Purchased this chest freezer in Dec 2020. Worked great until Jun 2022. when it stopped working and I lost ~$400 worth of food. No apparent reason for the freezer to stop working, no frost buildup, no vents/air flow blockage, no power outages or surges. Unplugged, cleaned out, restarted and froze just fine. Yesterday it stopped freezing again. Fortunately we hadn't put any significant amount of food in it. Called our local appliance repair shop, was told they won't even bother servicing this brand! Today it's going to the curb for the scrappers.

Good for small space but not good for long term use. Purchased 6/22/21 and less than two weeks later it had significant ice build up. This indicates poor quality seal.
If you are looking for short term use , the price is right. If you need a long term freezer, spend more and buy a different one.

Kind of loud and resonance when the freezer is running,cooling is good. but one serious problem is don't connect in a same electric wire with tv,moniter etc,the surge it will shock the Device let them trun on and off Frequently will damge the Device!!!

We loved this freezer. Very little frost and did an amazing job until it quit on us after 19 months. Disappointed in the product and even more disappointed to lose a quarter beef we just got abour month ago.

This freezer has been working well but only getting to -2, not -10 as mentioned. Today I found the freezer to be +4 with thermostat on max. Didn’t appear to be running. Unplugged for a bit and now running again. I’ll check it soon but this is very concerning with hundreds of dollars of food inside. Now I’m going to have to check It daily as no stores have replacements for me to get. Not thrilled...
