This cable was like magic. It took the short speaker cable I had and made it SIX FEET LONGER!! Unbelievable right? But it was true. I was able to locate my speakers six feet further away and still have them connected to my projector to watch Spinal Tap outside and have the sound in the right spot. These go to 11.

I use this extension cable with a pair of 1990's headphones that have a superior sound to much of what is on the market today. However these corded headphones have only two feet of cord. The extension cable works like a charm to take the music an additional six feet away! One word of caution: The cable usually works well for about 18 months. At that time it might start to short out and a new one must be purchased. But I have re-purchased this item when that happens.

We got this hoping to extend a headphone to the Switch. It extended the cord, but only delivers sound to the headphones and not the microphone from the headphones. It was obviously my mistake for not realizing this would not complete both functions. Can hear really good though with the extension.

So far, so good. I use for hours daily with my Apple earphones for VOIP conference calls. I am able to hear and be heard. Much heavier than than the Apple wire, it will pull the earphone from my ears if it falls off my lap, but does feel like a substantial audio cable.

I moved my computer speaker setup and did not want to use the octopus of connectors on the end, so this cable allows me to hide that mess and cleanly extend to reach to where my laptop sits. Does the job perfectly!

There must be a demand because I picked up the last one that day. I needed it for my Bose headphones. The fit and quality are perfect, and the price was right. I have purchased a few Insignia brand cables, and all have worked great.

NICE LENGTH. BOUGHT TO REPLACE A SECTION AND MALE END OF A CABLE FOR MY HYPERX HEADPHONES THAT I BROKE. SOUND QUALITY STILL THERE. SO WORKED OUT WELL.

This cable does just what it is supposed to do. Add length to a too short sound cable. It connects well and is very easy to use. Does not comprimse sound quality

This is the 3rd extension cable I've had to buy in 3 years. WHY? Because I tend to pull them out of my receiver by the CORD, not the receptacle itself. I hope I've learned my lesson. This particular purchase seems to be a little heavier overall, so that should help. Otherwise, these extension cables really work; I don't like "wireless" headphones for a number of reasons.

I use this for work Skype calls when I don't have Bluetooth headphones connected to my computer. The length of my corded headphones forces me to lean towards the computer while I'm on a call. Adding this cord between the computer and my ear buds allows me to move freely while I'm on a call while still being connected to my laptop. Works perfectly for what I need it for.

I needed an extension cord for my headphone jack on my pc laptop. I went to the store during Corona 19 and asked the attendant outside if they had an extension for my headphone jack. She went inside and very shortly returned with this product. I took it home and it works perfectly for my application. I appreciate the curbside service I received. Thank you Best Buy
