I have a headset with a 2.5mm male audio plug. I'm not sure where I got it but it was only useful to plug into a landline-telephone I have. I could not use it with my PC which has a 3.5mm plug-in port. This cheap conversion/extension cable saved me from having to buy a new headset with the appropriate audio plug. Saved money and it works flawlessly.

Item was just as described. Worked perfectly as I needed it to.

I bought this to add length to my Beats headphones to use as an inline mic on calls working from home. Just the Beats cable was way too short to wear on my head while plugged into my docking station, so the added length of this cable makes it work. Does what it’s meant to do, and more reasonably priced than other brands.

Didn't even think they had these anymore. But if you have a headset with a cable for you computer and it seems to be to short or always in the way, this is the answer. 6 ft long takes everything out of your way and you can what you need to without the hassle of the headset being pulled off or getting in your way.

Not fancy enough for wired headphones? Have a PC that is just out of reach of the normal cable? Fear not, this cord makes life easy, and you don't have to worry about ripping your ears off by moving too far (unless you want to go the fridge, you might need a second one).

Cable allows me to move around more freely in my workspace when plugged into my computer at the office. Now I can lean back in my chair as I listen into meetings instead of hunching over my keyboard.

Appears to have excellent audio quality when being used. I have had zero issues with this connection. Although a simple cable, it is also a very important one most times

My headphones came with an extension cable but it broke pretty quickly. This one has been working much better, but it is a bit pricey at $15 and Best Buy also does not have any other option for length when it comes to Male/Female aux adapters, so that was frustrating. Overall, the product is what it says and it works, good enough for me.

There's really not much to say about this other than it works fine and looks to be good quality. I have many quality cables that have lasted for years. Let's hope this one measures up over the course of time.

Not much to say. I use a pair of earbuds at my computer and needed an extension so I can slide over to the further side of my desk without yanking them out of my ears. So far it has held up well.

Don't really know how to review this! It's just a cable, it works, price was great & I trust Insignia products! Thanks to the lady who helped me locate where it was instead of letting me wander around batting my eyes like a frog in a hail storm hunting for it. All hail Best Buy!!!!! As a long term Best Buy customer,( 20-30yrs) I've used Best Buy for all my electronic needs. On my 4th computer, 4 TVs, 2 gaming systems, router, 2 Garmin GPS. Stereo system, 3 printers, Trac phone & many small things. I have Geek Squad support for my computer. If my old computer needs repair I will not take it to Geek Squad for service. Why not you ask? Cant wait for it to croak off so I can get a new one! LOL

I bought this to extend the "reach" of my headphones wire when sitting at my desk, etc. It's a simple cable, well made, no complaints. Works as described and expected.

My mother-in-law lives in a nursing home and her TV is approx. 8-9 feet away from her and she is hard of hearing so we needed an extension cable for her to use her earphones.

Hard-to-find item for extending computer speakers, but store associate immediately knew what I wanted and where it was in the store. Great service.

Simple to use but effective. Added it to a complex interview setup and helped get some of the clearest audio I've ever captured for a project.

A bit pricey for what it is, however, availability was the deciding factor in my purchase. I needed item immediately and they had it in stock, therefore, I paid a much higher price then I planned to. It works fine, which is the main thing.

This is just a garden variety cable extender, but it is durably made and integrates nicely into my basement sound system. Exactly what I needed!
