I actually went to guitar center first looking for this thing because I figured they would have a greater chance of having something like this. They didn't have it -_- Come Insignia at BestBuy to save the day :) Like many other Insignia products, their prices are reasonable. It's a wire that takes and AUX input and extends it. I don't need anything beyond the $15 price point for a purpose that simple and Insignia gets that. Even if it breaks down one day, I can just go out and get another no problem. Good stuff.

I needed a headphone style extension cord, to listen to music from my phone, through my off-the-grid pickup truck's radio/speakers. My original 5" iPhone cord had failed due to the cord being bent too many times. I had many intermittent periods of silence while driving, causing me to lip sync during my mobile karaoke stints. It was a minor crisis. This cord did the trick and solved my problem. Now I can sing while I drive, and fellow motorists can judge me all day long.

Not much to say other than it works well for extending headphone cable and it was reasonably priced.

I am hard of hearing and I bought this cable so I could plug two small speakers up to my TV and listen to them without blasting everyone out of the room, They are right at my side and so much better than the TV Ears that went on my head and the battery always ran down on nights when lots of good shows was on, This is a great way to hear even with ear buds plugged the speakers, Family is happy that I don't have to ask What did they say ? I hear it all.

Works great, just as expected. Bought this to extend the length of my headphones on my CD player at work.

It is very annoying when you are wearing corded headphones and they get ripped off of your head when you move a few inches! This handy cable solves the problem, giving you more than enough extra distance. I have had no problems with it so far and I hope that it continues to work. Some of the cheap cables you find in dollar stores and online break or quickly develop a lot of static, but this one has not done that yet.

I needed an extension for my PC speaker system, with a 6' length and a female to male plug. This worked perfectly.

I installed an external speaker in my car for my ham radio under the drivers side kick panel. Unfortunately the included wire with the speaker was not long enough to reach the head unit. This extension cable was just what I needed to extend the cable and reach the 3.5mm port. The wire seems to be heavy duty and was easily tucked behind car panels for a clean install.
