I was having an outdoor party so I needed to hook up multiple speakers. One was direct to the source and others were to a blue tooth transmitter. The splitter worked great. Only issue was the price. Could have gotten it for 1/2 the price from amazon but like I said I needed it for a party so I cox not wait for delivery.

I purchased for a flight with my family and when we flew we noticed the sound is so low we could not hear the movie. I tried to return to best buy when I went to make a purchase of two Fitbit charge hr and they would not return this item because it was over 14 days. Very frustrating since I had not used it until our trip and when found it does not work best buy would not take the return. Time to shop somewhere besides best buy. Would have rated it no stars but it made you rate one star to post this.

We bought this stereo splitter at a Best Buy kiosk in an airport in order for both my husband and I to watch a movie on his iPad. Tried it and it didn't seem to work too well, but it was also loud on the plane.

Our children were able to share music and video over a single tablet or phone at the same time without disturbing those around them on a road trip/vacation. Works as intended. Knocking 1 star for the price.

This is a good buy for the money. I had a splitter that was only a two-headphone jack so jumping to the option of 5 is great. I use this on trips when I'm traveling with my wife and family and we all want to watch a movie together. I've had it for several months without issue.

Bought this product so my kids could watch a movie our tablet while on a road trip but the output volume was so low, even with the tablet turned all the way up, that they couldn't hear movie over ambient noise.

So I plugged it into my tablet while I was traveling with my girlfriend we plugged our headphones in to watch the movie but it was very low quality and you couldn't here anything. Would not recommend.

We went on a 2 week vacation and needed extra storage space for memories along with ways to charge many devices at once and listen to one tablet on the plane for several people. Everything we bought was used and made the trip much happier for all involved!

Unfortunately it seems like the volume gets split when you plug in two headsets. So unless your hearing is superpowered get something else.

Bought this before I had a flight with my family. I always have movies on my laptop and everyone was jealous that they couldn't watch it with me. This solved that problem and all 3 of us were able to watch a movie on the flight.

This item worked poorly as it greatly reduced the volume so much that you could not hear what you were listening to.

It worked fine but it was too bulky for my liking. I went with less ports for less heft, I only really need two for me and my wife on the plane.

This is the only device I could find in the store that could split the audio signal more than two ways. I'm satisfied with the initial performance, however it seems like the audio signal is a little weaker (a little quieter) as a result of being split multiple times. The device is lightweight, I'm not impressed with the quality of the wire and the protective outer coating. It seems a little fragile. I would recommend handling this device carefully.

When I needed an extended length audio jack device to use with a mophie phone case battery, this was the only one available thankfully. It was just what I needed and the added bonus is to be able to share music.

We bought 2 of these for a trip with the kids to split our 2 iPads, they diminished the sound so much that they were completely useless. Even with only 2 headsets in each one (couldn't find a 2-way splitter in store) the sound was inaudible. This was also the first time I ran into the newer 14 day return policy of BB, returned from our trip and was unable to return these useless devices.

It is fine I did not really need that many "splits" but wanted to make sure that the split would be in both ears. I had and older "y" that split to two people but we each got sound in only one ear!

I was looking for a x2 headphone splitter. This was all that the best buy I visited had. It does its job so no lost stars. I just don't know of a situation when I would need to connect 5 headphones.

We used it when traveling across country on our flights to watch movies and it worked out well. Our laptop had only one phone jack so this allowed us to both watch and enjoy several movies together.

I bought this item before a flight to Florida. Family vacation... I figured 10 of us flying... I would share iPad movies with someone. It worked ok before we left when my son and I tried it out but there were two incidents while in flight where I tried to connect my sister (1) and my husband (2) and they heard nothing. Listening alone, there were no problems. Not sure what happened and I haven't tried it since.
