This cable appears to be well-constructed and, since it's coiled, all extraneous cable is kept out of the way and is less likely to be damaged. In my car, it will easily service front seat passengers and can stretch to the rear as well.

Overall, great product. I use this as a car charger as many people probably do. Seems to be made well and when not in use I don't feel like the cord gets in the way. Would have given this product 5 stars but didn't do to the cord length. At 6' you would think one would be able to hold the phone to your ear while charging but due to the tight coil of the wire it will only turn your phone into a high tech sling shot. Luckily, with the use of blue tooth the need to hold your phone to ones ear is unnecessary.

I had been looking for a spring style cord for my iPhone for car hookup that actually "fit" the Lightning connector properly. This one fits as if Apple had manufactured it. Well built. Quality product.

I've been searching for any coiled USB to lightning cable to connect my iPhone 6 Plus to the Alpine iLX-700 Car Play. Originally bought the Griffin coiled cable, but it did not work. Took it back for a refund. Searching Best Buy on-line I found the Insignia brand, but my local store did not have it in stock. They were able to order it for me and within a few days I had it in hand. This one works like a charm. The best part was it was a discontinued item and I got if for under $6. Definitely recommend this cable if you can find it.

So first, be warned that this a coiled sync cable. It can be a little misleading at first, but read the fine print first before making your purchase! With that said, I decided to not return this cable, because it actually grew on me. It works perfectly with my quick charge usb port on my laptop, it isn't flimsy by any means (using an iphone 6S here), and is very compact when you need that quick charge while you're on the go. Great price, great product, and overall, I would actually recommend this to others.
