    Love the multiple outlets and the USB plug point. It is a 3 pin plug so make sure you have one in your apartment. I had to buy a 2 to 3 pin converter before being able to use it.

    I went with this surge protected for the configuration of the plugs. They allow for long bulky plugs to go sideways and not covering up the next outlet plug.

    I am using the Insignia™ - 6-Outlet Surge Protector in my master bedroom to supply power to a nightstand lamp, a wireless landline phone and a wireless smartphone charger. I liked the thin design so that the charger fits between the wall and the nightstand. I wasn't terribly conserned about Surge Protection for these items, however it is nice to know that there is some protection provided for the items I have connected

    I've always been pretty impressed with BBYs Insignia brand. I used this strip to replace my much wider and thicker surge protector in my entertainment center so I could push it closer to the wall. It's held out well. It's slim making it ideal for tight spaces.
