I found that a square surge protector cannot be used with my adapter because of its shape. It will not fit into the socket. The standard surge protector, which this is, plugs into the outlet with no problem. So far, I am pleased the surge protector is working fine.

Good to use for less expensive items.

Would be better if it had an on/off light. Outlets are well placed on it.Good for inexpensive items
