I don't live an area that gets a ton of power surges so I can't say that it has ever been tested to that degree but I'm assuming it holds up under those conditions as well.

I still have a Dynex surge protector and it has a flat angled plug with the cord slightly to the right. I kind of wish this Insignia™ product had this type of flat angled plug. Other than that it's fine
