We replaced it with the Insignia 6-Outlet Surge Protector Strip and have not had any problems. We are happy with our choice.

You wouldn't plug in an expensive TV but you should be good connecting a few iphones and a room fan. It has a surge protector but one that isn't designed for heavy devices. You'll be happy with this if simple is all you need.

By using this item it keeps me from blowing a circuit and having to run down to my cellar to breaker box, and not worry about damaging a product due to a power surge!!!
