I also had issues with tablet shutting off for no reason.I also tried to return this for another type of tablet . I was not allowed to return it for a refund because I was late in return of tablet by only two or three days.I am now stuck with a tablet that does not work properly and also have lost the money invested in buying this tablet.

Their bring your own device policy allows the kids to use a device for online research, etc. This tablet would only sporadically connect to wifi, and as a result, was completely unreliable.

Good Value Tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using it for 3 days steady. Fastest tablet out there? No. Killer Sound? No. Amazing materials? No (all plastic). BUT....For 70 bucks, you get intel x3 quad core (yes..slowest one), 1gb RAM, Android marshmallow (won't check for updates from settings) , 16 gb (only 8 accessible after system - but I bought a 64gb sd for 15 bucks), and a decent, responsive screen. BOTTOM LINE: For non-gamers, ITS FINE. Reading epub and .pdf books with Moon is fine. Youtube/Netflix fine. VLC for mp3 and mp4 play fine. Basic productivity apps (hp12c emulator, banking, brokerage, web journal) - all fine. Web browsing slow but not much slower than my other tablet (Tegra 3 processor). Back gets a little warm when holding for long period, but put it in a case and you won't notice it. My only complaint is inserting/removing the SD card is a challenge unless you have long nails (I need to use jumbo paper clip). It needs to be pushed further down than one can comfortably get with finger. Not a tablet for resource heavy games (you have a console for that) or heavy multi-tasking (you have a PC for that). If you just want a device for reading books, streaming (use headphones), email, light web - this is for you. Concerned about build quality, so bought a case and screen protector. For 70 bucks, it's half the price of the competition and near the bottom of the cheap tablet market. No regrets.

Did not connect well with Wireless signal

Our previous model connected and worked well until the charger port fell apart. We are moving on to something else.
