I was going to buy one of those little beverage fridges for around $249 when I saw this on sale for $299. WOW I am so glad I did. My drinks are all up high, there is more room, and I have some extra freezer space too! Amazing little half size fridge! Doesn't take up all the space of a full size so it fits great in my laundry room. VERY QUIET TOO! Love it.

I ordered the 9.2 cubic in black on-line from Best Buy, very glad I did! I was looking for a medium size ref for my apt. Great modern but simple look for the price. It is very quiet and has bright light contrary to what others have said. It looks bright and cheery when you open it. I love the recessed handle. Cooled down in about 3 hours after delivery. No problem with the temperature. Note: When you open the freezer, you just need to wait for a few seconds before opening the refrigerator as it doesn't open right away. The manual is very helpful on where to store food, how to defrost (even if automatic), etc. The black color is a very good background for my colorful stuff as you can see from the pictures. Love it!!

Was looking for something to fit in a small back house, I usually have guests for the better part of a week or so when they visit. This has more then enough space for two people’s groceries and leftovers, and functions as a great apartment sized option. The freezer on the bottom is the way to go, as most people use the refrigerator 90% of the time.

good size. Pretty quiet. And keeps beverages very cold.

Purchased this refrigerator to turn into a Kegerator. Holds 2 5 gallon corny kegs with room to spare. Love the freezer at the bottom.

I love this fridge! It’s a good size but not too big. Has room for everything I need. The fridge temp is good and the freezer temp is good, thanks to separate controls. Plenty of room in the freezer and ice cream is perfect. Like the look: no handles that stick out, no chrome to distract. Bottom freezer is handy and having the fridge on top puts food at eye level. Not the least bit noisy.

Took for ever to track down a unit that would fit where I was wanting to put it. The cost was reasonable and delivery was prompt, beers and bait

We bought this for a narrow space and it fits perfectly. The LED lighting is great and provides plenty of light. We really like the freezer being on the bottom, as the refrigerator is much easier to access since it gets used the most. I did a lot of research trying to find the most biggest refrigerator for the space and this fit the bill. Not only is it the perfect size, but the price is great, too. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a more compact refrigerator.

We bought this as a second fridge for our basement storage room to keep wine and beverages in, as we needed more space in our main Samsung fridge in the kitchen. For this purpose it's a great product for the price point. It has a nice clean look and feels modern. Inside the shelves are easily adjustable with plenty of spacing options. It has LED lighting which is great and very simple dial and slider temperature controls, although there's no indication of the actual temperature the controls are being set to. It runs quiet too. We only use the freezer for storing bags of ice, but it would be a little on the small side (as the compressor sits behind this compartment) if you want to use it as your main freezer. The only negative is the wire basket in the freezer has no stop on it, so it will fall out if you pull it out too far. Overall it's a great product for the price and we're happy with our purchase.

I was set on buying a Ding and Dent for months. One came in at the same time there was a sale on the Insignia and others. I knew I wanted a smaller refrig. for now as I plan to move and store this one. The brand new one I have loved and wanted. The price on sale makes sense. The ding and dent was almost perfect. I just didn't want to clean it so I bought insignia. It's everything I wanted. The black blends in with my stainless steel appl. w/black trim. I was worried it would be too strong. It's great!!!! Nice and cold too.

This Insignia refrigerator is the best one I have ever owned. The size is perfect. It holds ALOT of food. I especially love the bottom freezer. It holds a lot as well and keeps everything nice and frozen. It is worth the little bit of extra money for the bottom freezer. I did have a little trouble with produce freezing in the back of the refrigerator, but an adjustment in the temperature setting solved that. This is the second Insignia I have owned and the brand is excellent. The smaller one I bought is about 4 years old and it is still going strong, so I am expecting a lot of years out of this upright refrigerator.

I finally found a refrigerator that is not too loud. Even though it is a third of the size of the Whirlpool, Fridgedaire, & Samsung, it still holds just as much food. This one I am keeping. The only downfall is that I had to add a handle, cause the handle is very inconvenient - too low.

Just picked this refrigerator up on 9/19/20 after ordering it online. Got home and unboxed, opened the refrigerator door to find one of the trays in the door broken. Contacted Insignia support, they transferred me to Best Buy Support and spoke to a support agent briefly before I was disconnected. Called the Best Buy support phone back, they told me I needed to bring the entire refrigerator back in. The tray that was broke is about 10" long. My idea was to have a replacement door tray ordered. I assume since this refrigerator was made in China (stamped on box) they do not have parts for them. Needless to say I will keep the refrigerator with the broke tray, I don't feel like driving 70 miles round trip to take it back to the store, where they will have to order another one since they dont stock them, and drive another 70 miles to pick it up.

I needed a small refrigerator and I much prefer a bottom freezer. There are not many to chose from. It came with a right swing door and I ordered a left swing door. I struggled but changed the door myself.

Worth the extra to have the fridge above the freezer for visibility and convenience. Looks nice but a little noisy at first. Either getting quieter or not noticing it as much. I would buy it again as it rates better than competitors.

We needed a little refrigerator In the garage. It was just perfect to work as an addition to a little apartment space we were using. It was able to hold pretty much everything we needed and great freezer space too. The only thing I would add would be a handle for easier opening.

I love this refrigerator!! It’s small, but I was expecting that. I love that the fridge is on top because that’s the part that I use the most. It’s very easy to move and extremely quiet. The first few days after I got it, I checked it repeatedly to make sure it was working because it was so quiet. It’s the perfect size for me. And the delivery men were awesome and very helpful!

”I love having the freezer on the bottom. It’s really convenient so I don’t have to stain my neck digging to the back for my ice cream I hide from my husband and kids - well from everyone! I’m so glad my ice cream is no longer hidden from my view as well! My ice cream (& sometimes other goodies too!) is now safely tucked under all the other frozen foods! The fridge part is nice and well lit. I hide things in the back of there too! Ha ha! I hope my husband never reads this review or I’m going to have to find a freezer with a lockable compartment.....hey excellent idea! Best Buy - please make sure I get fully compensated for the lockable goodie compartments idea when u send it on to the refrigerator manufacturers. I might have to patent this idea. The Insignia 9.2 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator has found it's place sizing between a mini frig and regular size home unit. Perfect fit for a man cave. Frost Free makes it an ease to use. Good size freezer which keeps items frozen and not soft. Highly recommend purchasing this unit.

Keep in mind this is a smaller fridge so lots of possibilities for it's placement. Great for rec-room, bar area, efficiency apartment etc. Love the idea that although smaller size it still has a bottom freezer and happy to find in black! Looks stylish and does the job.
