Don't buy

This will sound weird; but true. I hooked it up according to instructions and couldn't get it to give me good reception on AM or FM bands. After I toyed with the positioning for 10 minutes, I got frustrated and unplugged the power and viola; perfect FM reception. Still no AM reception. Not impressed given what Best Buy charges for this thing.

Unbelievable reception from my tuner

I went to Best Buy and asked if they had a amplifier for an am/fm tuner and they had one. Purchased it and immediately installed it and I was thrilled by the reception and quality of the sound. I highly recommend the Insignia Anplifier.

Awesome

This radio antenna is so great, it brings in channels now that I couldn't get before. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an indoor radio antenna.

Excellent for better FM Radio Reception

I tried cheaper alternative antennas without any luck. Once this amplified antennae was installed now the radio stations signal finally comes in CRYSTAL CLEAR! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

I could only receive a few channels inside my garage. Once I installed this to the radio, I was able to pick up a lot more.

Mediocre unless you have good line of sight

I was able to pick up some stations with my audiophile tuner but the sound was mediocre. It doesn't matter whether or not the antenna is plugged into a power source or not, no discernible difference in signal strength or quality. Almost returned to the store but didn't since at least it's better than nothing. Beware
