Aside from the red led light I believe the only “antenna” are the wires connected to my receiver. Reception is worse than the product I was trying to replace on both am and fm bands. Placement and any other repositioning of the unit made no noticeable difference. I would urge others to buy a roll of aluminum foil, a small red marker circle and wire it to your receiver the resulting antenna should almost be as good as this product. No stars.

Considering I live on top of a hill, I thought it would pull in hard-to-get stations. All this thing did was to amplify background noise/static on all stations, even the good ones. Positioning in different spots did nothing to help reception I returned it for a refund after a few days. Maybe another customer might have better luck with it.
