okay choice but did not fit in my Lifeproof case

Although the cable was certified by Apple as "For iPhone" meaning it matches company specifications, the Lightning connector end is a bit fatter than the cable that came with the iPhone. So the cable is NOT useable with the Lifeproof case since it does not fit in the charge port and removing the case to charge is not an option. It also does not fit my wife's Lifeproof Nüd case for her iPhone 5S.
