You use this cord to plug into electronic devices for the purposes of charging them. You may need an adapter of not plugging one end into a computer!

The cord was bought for my son to have one in the car. I think he would have preferred a longer one, which I'm sure I could have bought somewhere. It works and the price was the one thing I was looking to be decent.

i tried a generic power cord fro a cut rate store and it didn't work. i bought this power cord from best buys made specifically for my ipad and it works great!

This cable seems to work as well as the Apple cables, I'm always leery when not going with an Apple brand that it may mess with my phone, but this states it is apple MFi certified.

As always non Apple cords work for a while but eventually you need to mess with them to make contact. So time will tell for now works great and cheaper than the Apple branded.

The insignia cord works about like the apple cord did. Worked great for about 3-4 months, then slowly stopped working over time. I just wish I could find a cable that lasts for more than a year.
