Yes, you have to take the sleeve off the wii remote in order to charge it but that's not a big deal too me because this seems to be made well, and doesn't break on you or cause problems. The charge lasts quite a while and I'm very happy with the Wii Remote, decent price too!

This charger has done a good job so far. It is a replacement for the energizer one that was purchased at first. It has charged the remotes nicely. The back keeps it from looking so dirty from kids hands. Has cool lights that make it exciting for the kids to see when charging.

I was wondering why this charging station cost less than the others, but I can still find no reason. It is made very well, it works, was easy to set up, and doesn't have any annoying or unnecessary features. It does everything I wanted a battery pack and charger to do!

Works great and sure saves on the batteries. The only problem is having to take off the protective sleeve on the wifi remote to slide it into the charger, but that is minor compared to the cost of batteries.

While the base recharging station is black, the battery packs are grey in color. We have the light blue Wii and that messes with the color scheme a bit. It's nice to have 2 batteries, when one dies, you have a backup. Just wish they had something like this for the Skylanders portal!

So happy that I saw this charging base at Best Buy when I was looking for Wii remotes. I had previously bought an expensive one through Wii and this works just as good. So happy they stay charged while playing for hours. Makes kids happy.

Works very well. The batteries hold a charge for a decent amount of time (Well over 6 hours). The lights are good indicators for letting you know when the batteries are done charging. Plan on buying a second one. Definitely worth the money.

This thing saves me a lot of money on batteries which in a positive. The charge lasts a fairly long amount of time. One thing that is challenging while using this product is syncing remotes to the Wii system. The button covered to sync while the rechargeable battery is in the remote.

My Wii-U remote would constantly have dead batteries after long periods of no use. This charging station solves that issue. I just dock them while I'm not playing and I get to play with full batteries every single time!

This device is very helpful for being able to charge your Wii controllers without ever having to remove the battery pack out of the controller. Retains a great charge as if they were really good AA batteries. Very helpful.

Does what it supposed to do....keep my controllers charged. Works very well, i have used other brands that struggled to stay connected to the charging terminals. Went ahead and ordered two of these since my kids love for the wii was just reignited.

We decided after going thru so many batteries, that we would get a charging station. Our kids set this up in no time. It works great ! Highly recommend this product unless you have and endless supply of batteries.

If you have Wii remotes then this is a must have purchase. It ends up saving you money by not having to constantly buy new batteries. It charges the Wii remotes pretty fast and the charge lasts quite a while.

This recharge station works exactly as expected, at a price that didn't break the bank. One note, it will not charge wii remotes while they are in the rubber protective sleeves, but I doubt that comes as a surprise.

Got this for my daughter with her new Wii U. The battery packs that come with it last on average 3-4 hours. It charges overnight so you are ready to play the next day. A great product and we are very pleased with it so far.

Got this so I wouldn't have to keep buying AA batteries all the time, it works great and keeps remotes charged for quite a while! Only complaint is battery packs are grey while remotes are usually black or white.

With the switch out the acessories for the Wii U have been at a great price and at $10 (about as much as a pack of batteries) you never need to replace the batteries for two wii or Wii U controllers.

So far this has been great! I love that it came with the battery packs and the charging station has a built in place for the Wii Controller straps that our old charging station didn't! The kids are super happy that their Wii is back to working order!

Inexpensive solution to replacing my older Niko wii batteries and charging stand. This insignia stand nicely displays your wii controllers and the batteries last decently long. Highly recommend

This charging station works great. I works better than the one I bought that can hold the Tablet as well (on that one, one of the charging banks for the wiimote went out, and I can't replace it).
