The batteries included work great and the stand itself is great. You just sit the remotes down in the stand and wait for a full charge. No need to constantly adjust the remotes to make sure they are changing like my previous charger. The best part, the package was under $10. Can't beat that! I was a bit skeptical about the Insignia brand but this charger worked so well that I purchased an Insignia charge station for my Xbox.

Simple charging dock for the Nintendo Wii / Wii U

It allows you to avoid using AA batteries and recharge the provided battery pack instead. The controller sits inside of the controller dock and charges. A lamp on the side of the dock will indicate whether or not the battery has been fully charged or not. It is an easy way to cut down on disposable battery usage, and you can still use disposable batteries in the event that you forget to charge them and need use of your Wii nunchuck.

Great addition to our family of heavy users

You have to replace the entire battery cover (battery is part of the cover) so the color won't match the controller, but that's no problem. The only caveat is, if you have any cover for your controller, you have to take it off or slide it up in order to make the contact to the charger station. Other than that, it charges fine and saves us $$$ for batteries. I would recommend it!

Excellent Charger for Wii Remotes

The blue/red lights let you know when it is charging or fully charged. The battery packs were easy enough to install and will reduce my costs instead of using single use batteries.

So far has saved me 8 battery changes. Easy enough for the kids to place the controllers in the Chargers. We have an additional plug on the bottom of he controller ( 2"x2" square that plugged into the bottom-I have no idea wat it was for) this had to be removed to fit in the docking station.

It came with two batteries and the charger. I couldn't get a better deal than this. The batteries work well and charges fairly fast. Definitely worth getting.

Wii Remote Battery Charger.. Ehh.

They also recharge quickly. They work great, you'll just have to be extra careful with the charging base because it's not durable at all. Besides that, it fulfills it's purpose. No more double A batteries for my Mario and Luis remotes!

- A:Answer Yes, but you really shouldn't. Just like you shouldn't leave other products like phones and such plugged in all the time when they're already charged.

- A:Answer A nintendo branded nunchuk does not need batteries as it is powered from the wiimote. if you have an off brand nunchuk that is wireless that varies on brand.
