I leave my wii motes in the charger all the time unless I'm using them. I haven't had any problems doing so.

        Answer

The remotes are fitted with AA batteries, so as long you've got a fresh set ready to go, you don't need another charging station.

It uses standard US voltage of 110. You would need a converter to use elsewhere.

I looked everywhere for rechargeable batteries only. I have a Nyko Rechargeable Battery Station where only one of the batteries cannot hold a charge. I purchased the energizer station just for batteries although I wish I could just order the batteries. Now I'm thinking of a rechargeable Quad Station. I can't believe I am still playing with my original Wii, now with my 5yr old grandson.
