Photos also have those dots when used in the dark. I will have to buy a brand name flash because this is not a quality flash.

It has full swivel controls and 90 degree tilt just like my full sized Yongnuo flash. It has enough power for my needs for bouncing flash to the side or from behind on a wall for indoor portrait photography. Not sure if it's made from plastic but build quality is great for a small flash. Does not feel cheap at all. Best feature is the button and scroll wheel combination to control the zoom and flash power settings. Much easier and faster to change settings using the scroll wheel compared to having to repeatedly press the same button to change power and zoom settings on my other flashes. This is my go to external flash.
