Bought this for my daughter's 3DS which she received at Christmas. Disappointed that it didn't come with its own charger, I looked to get the Nintendo charger but picked this one instead because it works off of USB and has both wall and 12v socket adapters. So long as she has the cable, she'll never be without charging options.

This is PERFECT for my sons DS! We needed something for long car rides to make sure his DS stayed charged! It plugs into the backseat charger and the cord is long enough to reach him in his seat. Bonus the charger uses a USB cord so we can also use a portable charger like we have for our cell phones. It's a MUST for parents with children.

When I walked in the store I asked if the game system came with everything I needed and was informed it did. After opening the box, thankfully before a 20 hour flight I discovered it did not. Quick trip back and got this item. Comes with everything I could need to charge the game in any situation.

Pretty good charger. Biggest downfall is that the cord is too short to comfortably play while plugged in unless you're sitting right against the wall. It's a single cord that splits to the old ds and new ds plugs. USB end means you can use any brick you've got lying around to charge. Even it you don't have a DS if you catch this on sale it's a pretty good wall/car charger pack for any device you've got a USB cable for.

My son misplaced his original AC charger. I saw this on sale, so I decided to give it a try. It works as expected. Plus, now we have an option to charge it on the go. With the cable having a USB-A connector, we can charge it in the car. I am happy with the item.

I purchased this charger because I travel a lot. A lot of hotels nowadays are starting to install USB ports in the rooms that don't always charge your phone so I wanted to get this to use in one of those ports. It also allows me to use those portable USB chargers and will charge the 3ds as well.

The cable does what it is supposed to do but should be longer from the charger to the branch off for the connector split to individual connections. Maybe 5 or 6 feet instead of 3 feet. If you have to power your Nintendo with the power plug in the front drivers area and the game machine is being used in the rear seat area you may need to get a USB extender cable in the length that fits your needs. Other than this I'm happy with the purchase.

Good for the 3ds since it doesn’t come with a charger, has all the essentials, just wish the cord was longer

Traveling for vacations can be difficult for children. Having the game die half way through the trip can create some havoc and fussy kids. This power pack will assure that even if the fully powered battery doesn't make it through the entire trip, having the power pack as a back up can be a sanity saver!

My son got this for christmas. It is great because he can use the car charger when we leave the house. It helps keep him busy on car rides without his 3ds dying. I don't care for the extra ads charger attached. It hangs in the way. My son thinks this charges his 3DS so fast.

The cables work. Quite some time has passed with plenty of use from them and the cables still work.

I bought this because the New 3DS doesn't come with a wall charger and I didn't want to have to fight with my son for the one I have for my 3DS XL. The cable works great and the inclusion of a car charger made the road trip I took last month a lot nicer. The only thing I don't like about it is the length. It is probably only 3' long which makes it almost impossible to play the system while it's plugged in the wall, but worked great in the car.

This is a great set also for traveling. I also had my other charger go out on me for my 3DS. This also was an attractive buy since it was half off also. This works great and nice to have a charger for both the 3DS and 3DS XL.

Great for what I need which is a 3ds charging option outside of provided charger. Crucial for traveling abroad as you can charge off a portable battery that has a usb slot

Our grandchildren lost the charger to their DS so we searched for a new one. We saw this product on the Best Buy website and bought it. It works perfectly with their Nintendo DS and other electronic items we have at our home. Highly recommend!

When I'm at home, I still tend to use the wall charger from Nintendo for my 3DS, but this is nice to have as a backup for when I'm travelling. I would highly recommend it to people who spend a decent amount of time in their car for work.

While the device works well for the price and I have no complaints of its performance so far, my general experience with 3rd party equipment is that it is not as reliable as 1st party equipment...so I'm disappointed that Best Buy did not have the 1st party product.

It's stupid that this Nintendo DS does not come with a charger. For that reason I think we shouldn't buy their charger since it's over priced and should have come with it in the first place. This off brand charger is better and cheaper!

The charger does what its supposed to do and that is charge my 3ds. It has two different cables. If you have a 3ds from 2011 like me it has the old port to charge. If you have a new 3ds it has the hookup for that.

It is a great product for the price. It charges according to specifications
