A little bit large for my 2 TB Seagate Backup Plus but still there is any complain abouit it. There is enough room for the cable and any other stuff you need to keep, Removing the cable, there is room for storing two HDD.

This was a perfect fit for my WD - easystore® 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive Model: WDBKUZ0040BBK-WESN. The drive AND CABLE fit inside this nicely making it easy to carry the drive around. NOTE: The shell IS "hard" but not as hard as a thick plastic shell, and it is covered in a fabric which has a nice feel to it. Inside is a wide strap to hold the drive and a pocket on the other side. I found putting the cable inside the pocket made it all too thick to close, but pushing the drive to one end leaves just enough room for the cable so that everything zips up easily. All in all a nice product for the price.

I took a chance and purchased this case along with the WD Elements external hard drive. To my surprise, the drive was a perfect fit! Even the cable fit into the pocket! Having a hard-shell case is better than a soft one, because accidents happen!

This generic case has a fabric covered hard shell exterior. Inside there is a mesh net to hold required cords and on the right an elastic band to keep your hard drive snug. I use it for the LaCie Porsche External Hard Drive. It keeps the drive snug in the pocket and it doesn't appear to move around. The size is convenient for mobile use. The mesh portion is able to hold 2 small USB cords. I have been using this for just over two months and I've not had any problems or indications of case failure. I would recommend this case.

If you have an external hard drive and take it anywhere outside the house, you need a case. You can take my word for it or you can cry later. That said, this semi-rigid case will hold most Seagate or Western Digital drive models. Sturdy zipper. Handy little mesh pocket inside to hold the USB cable. Less than ten bucks and holds your drive securely with an elastic band. Try replacing a malfunctioning drive for 10 bucks. Seriously, get a case. This one is as good as any of the branded cases with the WD or Seagate logo.

Insignia™ - Hard Shell Case for Most Portable Hard Drives feels like good protection for any portable hard drive. It is a bit larger (thicker and longer/wider) so it should hold most any size external portable drive. It is probably overly big for a typical 2gb drive. However, my 4gb drive (which is a bit thicker) fits nicely. It has an elastic strap to keep the drive from moving about. It has a mesh pocket in the cover to store the USB 3 cable.

This case provides sturdy, hard shell protection and is a perfect fit for my Clickfree Plus external hard drive and it was at a price much less than the case Clickfree offered. It has a mesh pouch for the drive's cable, a nice feature.

This case has protected my external hard drive when I have accidentally dropped it. It has a nice small pocket to store my cable and holds my hard drive scerley.

Very handy case to store, protect and transport the portable hard drive. Room to store the cable to keep everything together. Great price.

Bought this case for my Seagate 2TB Portable Hard drive, Model STDR2000102. This case is just what I wanted. A hard shell to offer protection to my hard drive and a fabric outside to give it a little bit of cushion. Also, this case has plenty of room with the size of my hard drive that I can throw in my Bluetooth dongle and 64GB flash drive. Because of this case I can bring my hard drive with me without worry of easily damaging it so I can watch my recently imported movie collection anywhere I want.

This case holds my Toshiba 1 Terabyte portable hard drive almost as though it were made for it. The case holds the portable hard drive and its USB adapter cable with very little effort to get everything in place and with little unused space so things do not rattle around. The case with portable hard drive and cable inside makes a very compact package and the hard shell protects the contents.

This is a great option at a hard case for an external hard drive that's on the go frequently. This was next to a western digital case for an external hdd, that was twice the price. With this case, I simply drop my drive in it and go, no worries one way or the other. In a bag, in a box, wherever, my drive is always protected in this case...and it's not too bulky either!

I like to keep my portable storage and cables contained and organized. This case fits the bill. I would have loved to have it in a brighter color, but I got what they had in stock while I was in the store. Pros: side for hard drive strapped in with elastic band for quick access, web pocket on other side for cable and other loose items. Cons: Not waterproof.

These Insignia™ - Hard Shell Case for Most Portable Hard Drives are a great way to protect your portable hard drives. I'm using it for my Western Digital 2TB portable drives and it fits nicely in my laptop carrying case.

I bought a small external hard drive and I want a small case to protect it. I saw this at Best Buy next to the hard drive. The hard shell works great to protect it from dropping it. The elastic band inside keeps the hard drive in place and from moving around. The net pockit stores the wire and a few flash drives that I also have.

I have dropped an external hard drive in the past and lost all of my data. A case like this is a must! I would recommend a hard case over the soft ones because they provide more protection. Everything is padded on the inside in case of a fall. This case is also very compact, which is perfect for transporting it.

I can now proudly say I own a small cadre of these cases! I actually prefer them over several other varieties that are out there. They fit my Toshiba Canvios perfectly, with one side for the hard drive and the other side for the cord. I just bend the cord in two halves, with a 'J' shape at the open end, forcing the ends snug up against the drive, completely immobilizing it. I have accidentally 'tested' them as well: I've inadvertently dropped a drive from about hip-height inside one of these cases on more than one occasion. I can't rightly say if it was because the Toshiba hard drives are just very rugged, or if it was the tough hard shell of the case that softened the blow, but I have yet to have had a failure after such an incident. I'd rather believe that it was the case, and not the drive, that kept things humming along smoothly afterwards. At any rate, you could go far worse than purchasing this item. I strongly suggest that you make sure it fits your device before buying it, however!

I was looking for a case to store and carry a Kingston Mobilelite Wireless G2, its charging cable and a couple microSD cards in their plastic box. when the case is open, there are to sides to securely place your stuff. One side has an elastic band to hold in place the hard drive (in my case the Mobilite that fits perfectly). On the other side there is a mesh pocket that holds the micro usb charging cable, a 4 inch lightning cable, a box with a microsd card and sd adapter, another microsd card in its box and usb adapter for microsd cards

This hard shell case is nice for storing my external hard drive. I have not dropped it yet and hope that I never will but I suspect that it would provide nice cushioning if it does fall. It also has a pocket inside for storing extra cables and my memory card reader.

I was looking for a case to hold my Kingston Mobilelite Wireless G2, its charging cable and microSD card. Everything fitted perfectly. It has a band to hold the hard drive in place (in my case the Mobilelite) and a mesh pocket that holds the cable and microSD cards.
