One of the best cases for S20 plus The grip is good, the case is not too bulky. Overall great purchase

This is a simple case that is great. The clear case allows you to show off your phone color and it allows you to hold the phone without it slipping.

Great case other than the yellowing of it after using it for a couple of months

I had seen early videos of this phone come in different countries where they included a clear case so I was hoping one was included here in the US too, but no such luck. So this is exactly what I was looking for. I wouldn't say this is a "hard shell case" though. Not at all. It is soft flexible rubbery silicone-like. It doesn't take any strength to squeeze it or bend it when it's off the phone. To me, that is not the definition of a "hard shell case" at all. And I can't be 100% sure but my guess is that if the case isn't on the phone, if you really try, you could probably jab a sharp object through it. You're not able to do that from a real hard shell case. But don't get me wrong, even though I think they misnamed it, I do like it. As I said it's exactly what I was hoping would come with the phone. It provides just enough grip so you can feel confident that your phone won't slip out of your hand so easily, but it's not so big and bulky that it won't fit in your shirt pocket. Sure, you could probably find a cheaper quality one online but you have to add shipping and maybe pay for a return if it doesn't fit as perfectly as this one does or if there is a problem with it. I tried this one in the store to be sure it fit before I bought it. One slight potential issue that I am keeping an eye on: one day I noticed a ring on the back around where I think the wireless charging element on the phone is (I almost only use wireless charging stands). I tried wiping the ring off both on the outside and on the inside but it didn't come off. I felt it to see if it was warm or if my phone was warm but nothing. A few hours later when I looked again it was gone and I haven't seen it again. So it was probably a strange one-time thing but if it happens again I will exchange it for another one of these cases.

I originally bought this case for my S20+ as an inexpensive option to last me until I could get one I really wanted, but as it turns out Ill probably just keep this one. Its hard plastic on the back, but the sides have a kind of tough silicone or rubbery feel that helps you keep a grip. Buttons are solid. Also has small rubber bumps on the bottom to keep it from sliding on flat surfaces. Looks good and fits snug!

This case is relatively thin on the side which is a good thing since it does not make the phone that much wider. I have used Spigen, Caseology, OtterBox and Speck. All of those cases add a significant amount to the sides of the phone. The material makes it easier to hold then the slick back of the glass on the phone. This case also protects the screen while it is lying face down. Due to the curved screen, most cases have the sides cut down to be lower than the screen. The sides are slightly raised about the screen and all around the phone to prevent the phone from sitting on its face while it is face down. You would think this would interfere with using the edge features but this has not hindered me using the swipe from the side feature or the edge panel. The power and volume buttons are raised so they are easily found. The plug cut out is wide and soft enough that it does not bother my pinky that I use to leverage the phone when I am using it with 1 hand. I do not know how protective this case is should the phone drop
