Overall the the Radio is good, i bought the radio for use in my office to listen to the different sports radio stations, the clarity on the HD stations is nice (if they come in. but that is more of an issue with poor reception in my office than the radio). i listen with headphones on so not sure about the speaker quality but on headphones its nice and clear.

I purchased this as a gift for my dad and he is very pleased with it. It sounds great and has excellent reception.

In my home location I only have one HD station, and this radio allows me to hear all three HD channels. But on a recent trip to St. Petersburg, Florida, I was able to pick up more than a dozen HD stations. Sound quality is impressive for something this size.

We live pretty rural and I have a HD Radio in my truck and we needed a little HD Radio for the house. It works great stations come in clear.

We have been looking for a good radio in our older house. The plaster walls seem to have been a problem with other radios but not this one.

My mother wanted a simple, lightweight, easy-to-use tabletop radio she could transport around the house. This radio fit the bill perfectly. I love that it is an HD radio, because the sound is superior to a regular radio. The design is sleek and sharp. The price point is great, too. I would have preferred it also have AM reception, but for my mom, FM is all she wanted, and she's very happy with it. It's a fantastic little radio, and would be really great to keep on hand in case of blackouts, as it also runs on batteries.

Unless we're subject to heavy Florida summer storms, this picks up a medium power HD signal (from University) at 50 miles. Speaker is clear and loud, but better to plug into home stereo. At my location, on a storm day, using the headphone jack to connect to stereo will dampen signal strength more. Great unit to take with for the old work truck.

A small table top HD radio that receives both HD and regular stations. It auto tunes available HD stations, or you can manually tune regular stations. You can also program 'favorite' stations. It has a telescoping antennae, and gets good reception. It also was the cheapest HD radio I found. A best buy for am HD radio. Recommended.

Good radio. Takes "AA" batteries that do not last long. Use AC/ DC power cord.

Control buttons pretty intutive, HD channels come in clearly, one channel sometimes disappears (pure silence) when signal drops below critical strength. Having had an HD radio in a car, I recognize this as behavior, in the nature of a Digital signal, either on, and perfect, or OFF and none existent.

Bought this hoping it would pick up my country stations at work. Unfortunately it doesn't without the bay doors open and that just doesn't work for my techs in the cold winter months. However, the HD stations it does pick up are nice a crisp. I'm thinking about getting another one for home.

Bad radio reception made me return another receiver to seller. Read about HD broadcasts online and started looking. Found this unit at Best Buy and decided to try it. Brings in both HD and conventional signals with great fidelity. Big success in our budget-oriented household.

My brother wouldn't stop bothering me until I got this exact radio, and boy was he right. I've got more radio station options now! And for such a small radio, the sound quality is amazing. I think the HD signal is the reason. I also use the earphone jack on this radio to plug it into my living room stereo, and now I can hear these HD stations on my wonderful speakers. I don't need to buy every new gimmick that comes down the pike and I stayed away from HD radio for years because it was so expensive, but those days are over ... it ain't expensive now, and I'm very happy!
