This item was plug and play. The home office only had HDMI connectors in meeting rooms. This was a life saver in that it allowed me to project from my own computer. Bought a second for a new monitor at home.

My son is in college & has a Mac book Pro laptop & wanted to be able to watch movies from his computer on the tv using Netflix/Amazon Prime etc. He can't get cable in the college dorm & this is his only option. It works great.

I wanted to add multiple monitors to my iMac for practical efficiency and numerous uses, mainly for opening and viewing multiple attachments at once. This is literally Plug-n-Play, it's that easy. Come out of one of your iMac Thunderbolt ports with the adaptor and plug in HDMI from a separate external monitor and voila...you're done. Set up is super easy and you have a second, in my case third monitor on your system in no time. Works great and no issues with lag or jumping between screens. So glad I did this!

Works great. To adapt minidisplay port On MacBook Pro to1080p hdmi monitor. Due to limitations on 11 year old MacBook, I could not test this at the max rated resolution.

This is great for getting my small MacBook Pro laptop screen displayed onto a large hi-resolution monitor. The connections are tight and don't wiggle at all.

I bought this while heading down south, and with rainy days keeping you in i wanted to watch some movies on the hotel tv. This adapter was as simple as plugging in and playing. The only issue i came across was the sound didnt play through at first but after replugging in the adapter it worked.

Does exactly what it says. Let me use some cruddy old monitor on my new mac at work since they won't give us updated equipment.

I used this with a MAC BOOK AIR to project Power Point presentations to a TV screen. It worked great and provided the necessary interface between the computer and the HDMI cable.

My laptop has an hdmi AND mini displayport so I was able to use this to attach 2 hdmi only monitors to my laptop without needing a docking station.

Works! Was able to connect my dual screens to my laptop with ease. Bought other brands from Amazon that didn't work for my laptop and had to return.

And does the stuff it says it does. Less expensive alternative to Apple$ "premium" accessories. Needed it to connect my MacBook Air to a external monitor that does not VGA. So it works.

Simple and effective. Used to connect Mac Mini to TV screen in conjunction with HDMI cable. When looking at similar products, be sure to purchase a cable that is compatible with Apple, if needed.

Used it with my MS Surface Pro 6 and a 2nd monitor. When I get back to doing non-virtual workshops and using a project I expect it to work just as well.
