The cable exceeded my expectations. It even has support for 4K monitors which is a plus with almost no lag. Customer service was nice enough to give a brand new one when the open-box I purchased was not available

It didn't work for what I originally needed which was to connect to an older projector. But as far as using display to hdmi it works fantastic. Plus I was able to get it for an open box price! Looks and works just like brand new. Very satisfied and would recommend others to get this if this is what you need.

This was purchased for my son, to use with his MacBook Pro. It allows him to watch videos from iTunes, as well as view documents and so forth, on the 46 inch Samsung TV he uses. While not essential, it works well.

I needed to connect my MacBook Air to a hotel TV in a pinch, and this really made it easy. I tried chromecast but it wouldn't connect to the hotel's wifi, but this adapter made things quick and easy. I'm looking forward to putting this to use in my scholarly and professional life!

I've tested this adapter with both televisions and monitors and it works great across the board. The Insignia brand works well enough it was worth the savings to get this instead of the Apple brand.

I plugged it into the USB port on my wife's MacBook Pro and it worked just dandy. I really didn't need it since her Mac has an HDMI port. However, I needed to test it out for anyone who needs to use this adapter.

This connector did the trick. Our Samsung Android TV model will not work with our Apple devices to produce full TV screen images wirelessly, even though there is an app for this function. The cable works well to give us full TV images of live streamed church services, funerals, virtual Tai Chi and similar classes offered by VA, and YouTube videos such as a crackling fire with awesome sound effects. We will get many hours of use from this reasonably priced product.

I purchased this product and a Belkin adapter. This cable was more durable than the Belkin cable, the Belkin cable broke after a week. If you're using this for a Mac don't forget to change the sound settings.

I just got my new Mac and i needed an adapter to present my college work and i went to best buy and this one was the cheaper one and it works perfectly don't have any issue until now

Since I can’t do airplay from Mac to tv. I got this port to plug my Mac into tv in order to watch online tv. It does the job! And so far no issues.

I purchased the Insignia HDMI adapter for my MacBook Pro. It was less expensive than the Apple-branded adapter. This is not an item that has bells and whistles. It does one thing and one thing only -- connecting my laptop to an HDMI display. I've used it twice and it functioned without a hitch.

I am astounded that it actually connects. When it comes to connectors, this delivers the the best connection ever. Best at any price. This really beats the broken connector it replaced. (It was only 5 years old)

Does exactly what it says it does- perfect confection from my Mac to HDMI. Bought it for presentation use at college, but have ended up using it to watch movies from my laptop a lot at home too. Recommend.
