Nothing major or complicated and this does the trick. You m ust make sure that the laptop is completely closed or the screen resolutions are odd.

I'm using it with a Surface Pro 4 and it was a tight fit to connect the adapter to the socket. You have to make sure you put it in just right to get it to work. Once you do it works fine.
