My wife was delivering a baby so we would be at the hospital a few days. This attachment allows me to direct attach to the tvs via hdmi cord.

Purchased to add a third monitor to my PC ( Needed an ACTIVE adapter to be able to use three PC monitors to enable EYEFINITY on my Alienware PC / AMD Crossfire graphics cards.)... This is a PASSIVE adapter, so it's useless to me. I purchased this adapter based on other reviews on here that said it was an ACTIVE adapter... they were wrong. I will be returning tomorrow since I found a cheaper/better solution on Amazon.

Absolutely fantastic Smart TV! 55" and delightful to watch. I added a sound bar to enhance the audio quality. (TV's now a days don't really put big speakers in them). ~ You may want a Samsung Sound Bar, or buy the large portable BOSE box. ~ I got the large BOSE box because its small, but really puts out the sound. Bass and treble are excellent! ~ The TV has Equalizer settings, so all is adjustable. ~ In summary, for the features, exceptional picture quality, and above all the great price at Best Buy you can't go wrong!

Does the job. Cost less than Apple brand. For what you’re buying it is perfectly adequate and is interchangabke with Windows PC

I've bought 4-5 of these for our employees' Macs. They work well, seem compatible with every monitor/Mac I've used them with and I haven't had any fail.

I have an old mac with a mini display port, so I needed this to adapt my HDMI monitor. It works great!

Worked really well, no issues at all. Used this to plug my MacBook into our 65” tv. Worked great just colors were a bit off but I don’t think that had anything to do with the cable.

This works fine. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad and I can display onto a Vizio TV via this adapter. No issues.

Worked perfectly! I set it up in no time and connected to HDMI of television and placed slideshow off MacBook Pro.

The macbook at church does not have a HDMI port. We plugged this in and the HDMI cord into it and we can now use the projector again.
