This cord port to HDMI for MacBook 2015 to Monitor

It is the equivalent of Apple (lightning bolt or thunderbolt, whichever is cheaper). The new Macs make it necessary for specialized cords and this one did the job for around $20 addt'l. Easy to use. Cord is total 7" but connects to HDMI cord to reach monitor.
