    I didn't have a high expectation for this. The elastic doesn't give it a tight grip on flash head and easily falls over or off. It was cheap and worth a shot.

    I found that this was better for shooting macro. However, I have used it for portraits as well. I also used it to shoot a wedding. The reception shots were a bit dark, but there were no harsh shadows to deal with.

    I bought it along to go with my new canon external flash. Test it out, and the pictures are too dark whenever I had it on. I returned it because the external flash I bought had one and the pictures taking with it are good and clear. I give this flash diffuser three stars because I like that it can be fold flat---makes it easy to carry around.

    I doesn't fit Nikon speedlights well (all current as well as SB800 and an old SB28). Falls off without you adding extra tape...works great while it's on
