I own a 2 story home, about 2200 sq ft and this device still manages to pick up some channels, about 11-28. Although when I position this device in its optimal position, by then next day the channels that I was able to watch are now unwatchable even though the antenna wasn't moved. This device is OK at best. Might work best on single story home without much interference.

My two TVs downstairs are mounted so I really couldn't get it attached (weird mounts make it next to impossible) because it is a coaxial instead of an HDMI. I tried to attach it to a TV in the bedroom with no luck but I have a 3 day old baby so admittedly I only messed around with it for 5ish minutes. So, it may end up being great I just haven't had the time to make sure it works efficiently

Live in the country and all of the towers are on the other side of the house from where the antenna is mounted. However, it picks up half of the available channels. I used double sided tape with velcro to stick it to the window to get better reception. In short, not so omnidirectional but for the price its OK and generally what I expected.
