It may be my location from the towers which is about 25 miles away. This brought in the lower channels but had problems with 11 and above.

Now I'm a about fifty miles from Chicago way passed the advertised range. It would probably worked better if I was closer in.

You have to place the antenna in the right spot for it to be effective. The picture will go in and out if you don’t.

The size and power of an antenna you should have is determined by many factors. If you are not terrible far from the transmitter and can attach to a exterior wall, this antenna should do fine.
