We had to go to the amplified model to get better reception & we live pretty close to all local channels transmission towers so distance was not an issue.

I connected this to my TV and couldn't get a single channel. I tried moving it several times, different rooms, tried adjusting it's position, and never got anything. I am well within range of multiple towers, some less then 10 miles and nothing. This is a waist of money.

Poor Reception From 2nd Floor Building - NYC

Live in Brooklyn, NY in a 2nd floor apartment. The antennae was located above television and approximately 12 feet away from window. The 11 channels experienced some picture lag qualities as well. Could not get channel 11 (PIX) or 13 (PBS).

Hard to pick up all local channels
