The antenna that I had hoped to replace could pull in 9. The product description said that it included an amplifier, which it don't, but was why I thought it would work better than what I had. Works worse than what I had, so it will go back.

I know how disheartening it is when things don't go as planned. Please, be mindful that the reception depends more on the location than on the antenna. Only very special locations require powerful antennas. Just be sure that the antenna was correctly next to a window and receiving air from the exterior, after all it is an "Over-the-air antenna.

The antenna is very directional so much so that I could not receive more than one of three network channels at one time. Most of these channels are within 30 miles of my home. Reception at best was marginal.

I used this by the window...so unless we don't live in a good signal area...I wouldn't buy again. We have only 7 channels and only 2 have tv shows.

Aftering tracking my package on the website I keep seeing a message saying "unable to complete delivery" Tried calling Best Buy and was told to call FedEx. According to FedEx the item could not be delivery because they received a "empty box with no merchandise" ?!?! Don't have time for the run around so I just cancelled the whole thing and my bank refunded me.

Good for basic channels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought onsale for daughter who has no cable or dish service and it picks up the major channels and other random channels for a total of 12-15 channels.There's no channel guide so it's not clear what station you're watching and what shows might be on. Nice to have the local news and PBS for free.

The Insignia multidirectional antenna performed the same as the cheaper one. The reception is not very reliable and the picture scrambles and freezes A LOT! I returned it to the store...not impressed with the performance.
