I bought this for $5 with my reward points added and it gets a better signal for local channels. My only gripe is that I like black better.

For an undercounter tv in the kitchen it fits well, provides good reception so we can use that tv to watch while we are preparing meals. It fits perfectly whrer the old landline wall phone used to mount and the white is the same as our counter toos and appliances.

Bought this for cheap, cheap, cheap but it does the job. We have an old tv that doesn't hook up to cable and just needed the basics. It did the job.

all I did was plug it up.. turn it in a direction.. let it auto tune, and 5 min later, if that, I have access to like 15 cable channels on my projections screen. and it doesn't take up a lot of space and the looks is nice , and avoids that old two antenna poking out look. (rabbit ears).

I've added a TV to a sunroom and don't have a cable connection out there. This antenna is easy to set up and performs well to pick up the local channels.

    Surprisingly Good Digital Antenna

This antenna is surprisingly good. I have tried other over-the-air digital antennas (admittedly more flimsy) that did not pick up major local channels. This one picks up all the local channels I know of, and the stand it comes with makes it more stable for positioning. There are probably better ones available that would pick up channels farther away, but this one is well worth the $10 I paid for it.

Took a little while to set up i literally thought you just plug it in and that would be it, but i had to go into the TV menu settings. Picture quality is great HD quality, a few channels are pixelated but that could be due to me not having it near a window. I use the antenna mostly for local news channels and the basic hulu library for shows, no more live TV streaming they´re just as expensive as cable.

Pro: clean design, easy installaton Con: range is not optimal even facing direct sight of the TV tower. but better than my previous thin flat wall hung antenna.

Excellent for picking up local channels to broadcast onto one's television; must remember to use the Auto program on the television to have the antenna locate the local channels.

A Paper Clip Worked Just As Well

Before purchasing this "HD" antenna I built one with 16 gauge copper wire that was the same size - but still thought a "store bought" antenna would provide better results than my homemade version. I was sadly mistaken. This Insignia Antenna could not even get all the major networks: ABC and CBS and FOX were receivable but the big network NBC from Nashville could not be received no matter where I put this antenna. I opened the case of the antenna to see how it was configured and I was stunned to see that the wire runs for antenna lines were nothing more than 1/8th inch or thinner foil strips covering less than 15% of the inside of the product. No circuitry to balance the signal output, no really appropriate conductive materials. I stuck a paper clip in the center of the TV's Air Antenna connector without the Insignia antenna and I received nearly all the same channels that I received with this cheaply made Insignia antenna I paid $15 to acquire. Inside configuration of this product doesn't even make sense based on what I know of antennas -- and I'm a former military radio/wideband/multi-channel repairman. Too bad there is no negative star rating (a minus star).

This was very easy to set up. The only issue is that it needs to be next to or on the window sill for it to work properly. There are alot of channels that I would not necessarily watch but its in my guest room so that my guest can watch the local stations. It serves its purpose.

Range wasn’t that great, only got certain channels. But all my local channels come in really clear. Good product if you only needing it for local channels. Got a really good price and came in the mail quickly. Opened it up And set it up within minutes. Pretty simple

I don't subscribe to cable so use a digital antenna for my TV. This picks up over 50 channels in HDTV quality and I am very impressed for the amount of channels I receive and the quality. Great buy.
