we receive all the channels that we expected and then some. There is no deterioration of image quality. The unit is mounted on the wall in my basement which has not resulted in a failure to receive broadcast signals. Installation and set up are simple and fast. The price is quite low. It is a great value.

This antenna works well and is easy to setup and received a lot of channels in my area, but I purchased it to access 6abc which it was unable to do by no fault of the antenna but because 6abc is not designed for antenna connections, as I was told after the purchase. So, if you are ok with receiving a lot of channels that may not necessarily be local news channels then this is great. But if you want local news channels and find that antennas don't work then you will probably need to pay for a live TV service.

I bought this at a great sale price. This is our first HD antenna and we weren't sure what to expect. We followed the easy to read instructions and it just about set itself up! This allows us to pick up more tv channels than we even knew existed! Great little product to help save you from high cable prices! We're very happy with our purchase!

So, how easy can it be to use this antenna. Set it near a window and go to the auto channel sesrch on your TV and click search for channels. It will obtain all channels that is within area. Clarity is great! I really don't notice any difference between this and cable. I get ABC and NBC with great reception. Of course, I also have Netflix and Prime to supplement.

Great inexpensive antennae. This is my second one. The first one worked fine so I decided to get another for a second tv. This antennae really comes in handy during inclement weather when the cable connection is iffy. You know, lots of snow, pixels, etc. I just switch to TV and may not be able to watch what I was watching but I can watch something. It delivers a very clear picture.

Been using this antenna for awhile now and it is wonderful. Tried other ones but they didn’t work at my house. This one was going to be my last attempt. Much to my surprise and total joy it works very well. The picture is just as good as with cable. There can be the occasional blips of interference which causes some picture break up. It doesn’t last and is not a problem. This was a great investment and I will probably buy another one soon.

I purchased this antenna while setting up my mother-in-law with basic TV service in her new apartment in Denton, TX. I had actually hoped to convince her to use the antenna for her basic TV service and supplement her TV watching with online services. Hookup of antenna was very easy, and reception gave her about 80 channels--that's 40 miles north of Dallas where most of the stations are located. Not bad. She chose to get a cable service instead of keeping the antenna.

A simple fix for my cable woes

It seems that my cable company scrambled all their channels so I could no longer pick up local stations on my small bathroom TV. Also, my cable co. doesn't offer a small box to unscramble like Xfinity. This antenna works pretty good and brings me local channels and a lot more (I got 30+ channels). Unfortunately, my window faces away from Atlanta, so sometimes the signal is flaky, but works 85% of the time. Give it a try!

I am toward the end of the listed range and it picks up the signals better than the rabbit ears antenna that I was using before it. It also produced a better quality picture. If you can put it by a window it works a bit better. The only downside is that the connecting wire should be longer for more flexability in where you are able to place it. Thats the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, it works very well.

Simple to setup and received several over the air channels. Recommended for those close to towers. I'm about 10 miles for most and this works great at a low price

Very satisfied with Insignia's Multi-Directional HDTV Antenna! Easy to install. Nice decorative look, also! Brings in approximately 20 TV stations sharp and clear in my area.. Rotate very slowly (if you use it as a stand up on a table, etc.). The slightest turn adjusts station's clarity.
Great product!

After cutting the cable cord I went searching for inexpensive over the air antenna that would allow me to receive local channels. This antenna was easy to attach and provides good reception for most of the channels available in my area. Some limits due to apartment construction and location but acceptable and reasonably priced.

Great antenna for the price. Fairly easy to set up, but instructions could be more detailed. My only complaint is that the cord comes out at a 90 degree angle from the base, so it makes it virtually impossible to lie flat on a table, which the instructions say is an option. Not a huge deal, as you can still prop it up like pictured, or hang on the wall. Overall, a great, less expensive option to pick up HD local channels.

Its decent for the price, purchased for a guest room that almost never gets used -- it picks up most local channels but took alot of trial and error to get it working. Research where the tv towers are in your area and point at them in a window -- only way it works ok, almost useless if its not in the window facing tv towers direction.

I received this as part of a "package" for buying amazon fire stick. I didnt expect much from it. But it works pretty well given I live in Scottsdale up against the McDowell Mountains with other hills/mountains possibly blocking signals..
It connects easily to TV using the permanently attached cable. It is not amplified so there is no power connection. I had TV scan for channels and it picked up about 35 ranging from 480I to 1080I - with the major channels ABC, CBS, NBC included.
I am using in our guest bedroom and it allowed me to get rid of a cable box. Antenna is mounted on the wall (nice thin design) at 90 degree angle to the window.
I did move it around a few times to find position that seemed to work the best.
If you are looking for an antenna to be used for a secondary TV - this may be just what you are looking for. For the price I would highly recommend a look.

The antennae is very reasonably priced and super easy to set up. I found that there were channels that should have come in that didn't give good reception. It is a very reasonable antennae for most people. I still use this antennae on the kitchen TV, but have a different antennae for the main TV.

This isn't a bad antenna. It picks up local signals well enough (but no distant signals) so long as you have it in the right part of your home, in the right window (HD is digital signal, so "Line of Sight" applies). It cannot pick up weak signals though, which better antennas can. So for the relatively short money it costs, it can be an acceptable choice.
