In all honesty I would go with the screen protector first.

Gives you the appearance of a very confident man/woman because people think you’re walking around without a case. You like to live on the risk taking wild side of things but OH WAIT, you do have a case and it gets the job done. Only flaw is that it turns yellow after a while but ehhh, it’s a bank for the buck.
