This device saved me from having to re-arrange my desks at home and from having to borrow a full-sized docking station from the office. It would have been great if the software had come with the device, but it was trivial to download and install. My slightly older, external monitor doesn't automatically adjust between the USB/VGA port and t he straight VGA port on my personal laptop, but that's a fairly small price to pay for the convenience.

With newer technologies having to sometimes mix with the older, this serves well. Note: not plug and play - download required for driver, so plan ahead before needing to use. Adapter does not come with ability to attach with screws. We used this adapter to connect newer Lenovo laptop to a smart board projector.

I needed to get an adaptor for my second monitor, and this fit the bill perfectly. Cheap and effective, it lets me plug my second monitor directly into the USB bar, which is good since my new laptop doesn't have a vga port.

This product works great for hooking up USB from Labtop to a VGA cable that goes to a 22inch monitor. Pretty easy set up.

I purchased the Insignia™ - USB to VGA Adapter for my small office to utilize 2 additional monitors from my laptop. I have used similar products to do the same thing. Overall the Insignia product works well. The one exception is that I am using an older laptop with USB2. The connection is slower so I get some flickering. I am confident that if I upgrade to a newer PC there would be no problem. I have purchased other Insignia brand product which I am extremely happy with.

Decent converter that doesn't cut in and out like my previous ones. Would recommend for the price.

This adapter works as it should. I was able to attach an extra monitor to my laptop.

The adapter was really easy to install, I did not need any instructions on how to install the USB toVGA adapter. Connected the adapter to my laptop into the USB port, connected the VGA wire to the monitor and the other end directly to the USB to VGA adapter. The Monitor started working right away.

It's compatible with PC and Mac. Good price and does the job.

New laptops don't have the old style connections. The Geek Squad listened to my problem searched store inventory and came up with this adapter to connect my new laptop to my projector. I just plugged it in and lit up like a magic lantern. A really inexpensive solution.

I had gotten confused with this device (I thought I had purchased a vga to hdmi. But it turned out to work just fine. This device is a last resort. Did the job for me.

My new laptop doesn't have the pin receiver for my 2nd monitor connection. No where to plug it in. This little device did what I needed. Quick and easy. Just how I like it. I haven't had it long, but so far no glitches.

I purchased these for a windows 10 migration as the video cards installed were not compatible. They worked by simply plugging them in, every user had access do both monitors within a couple of minutes.

This adapter can be used to connect two monitors without having to purchase a new expensive graphic card. It's pretty much plug and play besides having to download and install the driver from the website..

This adapter is a simple solution to adding another monitor to your desktop, laptop, etc... Took 5 mins to set up which was nice. It's also very portable so I was able to use it on another home computer set up in no time. I recommend it.

Got this for an old LCD projector so we could stream movies through my laptop. Easy to install the drivers and it works perfectly. Many, many hours of use with zero issues.

I use this to connect to an overhead projector. The only thing I am not happy about is it will downgrade the resolution if you don't have a USB 3.0 port. When I use it on my desktop for a second monitor, it will only go to 800 x 600.

This is a good product meet its promotional expectations in providing capability to connect my laptop to various monitors.

With less ports on new laptops, I needed to use the USB/VGA to connect my extended screen. I don't notice any significant delay in appearance of new data on the extended screen which I had read was a problem with some connections.
