While the construction and materials of this Insignia mount leave a bit to be desired, for consumers who don't have the big bucks to shell out for top-of-the-line accessories (i.e., me) I would say it's definitely Good Enough. This mount does what I need it to do, which is hold my phone snugly (thanks to its adjustable grippy arms and its foam-lined back panel) in a convenient location above my car's radio and controls, and I will say it has held up for over a year now of constant use (though I haven't had to adjust the grippy arms very much since I first got it, so it's basically just sat in the same place clipped to one of my vents the whole time). All in all, it's a decent phone mount that gets the job done, and for what I paid, I can't say I'm dissatisfied.

I've been using this mount for almost a year now, and am satisfied with how it holds my iPhone 6 Plus. It is easy to use and install, and adjusts easily for phones of most sizes (I've not tried anything larger than mine, though). I will say that I had to buy a second one after the first one had a small part break on it, so be careful when adjusting it. Overall, I would buy this again, if needed.

I like the versatility of this. I prefer to have my phone up at eye level, but my daughter prefers vent level. This mount lets us do both. The only down side is that it doesn't have a bottom support, so if I don't have mount squeezed tight enough, my phone will slip out. The rubber grips work well, but can interfere with my volume buttons on the phone. The suction cup works amazingly well!

i bought this for a recent trip. It took a bit to get the unit to hold my GPS and stay stuck on the window. It was great to not have to look down and try and read the directions or worry that i would hit something on the touch screen. I would recommend this to anyone with a GPS or even a phone. Helps keep your eyes on the road

This was a total "must buy" item since I live in California and in order to stay a law-abiding citizen and still have my phone in front of my face, I needed this kind of apparatus. The price on it was definitely a plus. The option to hang it from my vents doesn't quite work in my 2013 Kia Optima, but I do use the suction cup on my windshield.

Sturdy Vehicle Mount which was easy to install, I read in some of the reviews that it broke easily, I have not had any issue with that. My only downside to this item is that it covers the air conditioner vent (obviously) and in the winter that has not been a problem but I think in the warmer months I might not like that.

I have owned this car mount in the past and it lasted me 3 years before I accidentally broke it. I love it, it's easy to install, it stays in place and it comes at a great price. I would keep repurchasing this car mount, I'm very satisfied with it.

I choose this product for a road trip I was taking. It was priced the best out of best buys selection. Worked great. I attached at ac vent. Took a few minutes to get phone set in correctly but after that it was good to go. It can be a little loose if u have a heavy phone but nothing to hender use of product. Great value.

I purchased this cell phone mount because I have a 30-40 minute commute to school and I like to stream Pandora from my phone. I have to use an 1/8" cable to connect and setting the phone on the seat, it slides all over the place. I like to have it right in front of me so it stays in place, and it makes it easier to change stations if necessary. The suction is second to none! I could get that thing off the window if I tried, other than the proper way. The goose neck is flexible but firm so it does not sway, although time will tell if that changes. Right now, I am super satisfied with this purchase.

I would recommend only for average sized phones. It holds well and is easy to use. I've used it for couple weeks as a lyft driver and I've had no issues. Once you clip it to the vent it holds securely in place and your phone will not fall out.

Bought one of these a for 3,000 round trip. At first wasn't sure if it'd do the job. I was pleasantly surprised. It fits all sized phones & is adjustable in all the right spots. Admittedly, its a little bulky. But, I'd rather have bulky & secure than smaller & flimsy. Overall, very pleased.

I was looking for a vehicle cell phone holder and was not sure what would work. The Best Buy sales person, this particular model is what Uber drivers use, although I am not an Uber driver. It attaches/secured in two different manners, one is a suction cup to the windshield. The down side is that it can to some extent, obstruct your view, however, no where near as distracting as dealing with a phone call while holding your phone. The other manner is attaching to the fins on your HVAC. For my F-150 this definitely does not work because it flops back and forth. This device is somewhat bulky and heavy compared to other such devices however, the suction cup does secure the holder, even during bumpy driving conditions

This is a repeat purchase, once the same manufacturer, one another brand. This works well, easy to mount below the mirror and adjust for a non glare view without blocking visibility out of the window. This model has a bonus, a clip mount that goes on an air vent vane. The part that grabs the phone unclips to move it to the other mount It does block airflow but I must say I like this location better. As I had this brand before, I saved the phone mount. So, I have two locations to put my phone, helpful for guests or to hold an iPod. As the the phone holder, I prefer my older one to this one. The clamps on this one are fatter and, to me, more difficult to snap the phone in. I may not have given it enough of a chance though. I do recommend! Note though, the suction cups wear out and after two to three years need to be replaced, something I really don't mind.

Wasn't sure what was available so the CSR helped me. She showed me 3 or 4 types. This one was inexpensive and seemed to meet all of my needs. After I bought it, I found out the part that goes onto the window works really well, and can be removed very easily to move to another car. If you'd rather have it hook to a air vent, there's a part for that too. I tried that part, and wasn't really happy with it, so went back to the window holder. The contraption is able to hold different phones because it's easily adjustable. I need easy. This worked so well, I ended up going back and buying a 2nd one for my wifes car too. That way I don't have to keep moving them back and forth. Well worth the price.

This stand is great. It is the best way to have my phone GPS without having to hold it. It is easy to use and very sturdy. I love that I can keep my eyes on the road much better now. It is perfect.

I bought this mount so I could use the GPS system on my smart phone. I am so glad i purchased this. It is sturdy and easy to use. Just wish I had bought it sooner.

This was a gift for my wife. I already have had the same one for two years. It's versatile since it will hold any phone. Just be careful not to clamp down too hard. I think I broke some of the gears inside so it doesn't lock down too well anymore.

We bought this unit to hold both the GPS or the cell phone when needed. It holds both very well. So far it has been reliable and is easy to use. The only drawback is that it is bigger than normal mounts and takes up a bit of space on the dashboard.

I was looking for a flexible phone stand that would plug into the power outlet, and automatically charge the phone, while staying visible, but I saw this one that uses the vent, and I like more of the features than I don't like. This is very adjustable, and should fit any phone or GPS, and remains stable (ie, doesn't shake much). The only part I don't like is that it covers most of a vent, so that I don't feel much of the air, and when I have the heat on full, it makes the phone pretty warm. But I do like the fact that it's higher than I had planned, so I don't have to take my eyes far from the field of vision, to see what's on my phone (especially maps), and I can still use the cable from the power outlet to charge my phone. Very functional, and cheaper than I planned.
