I have a power cord connected to my smart plug so that my Google Home Mini can turn on all the living room lights when I ask it to. It was easy to pair with my device through the Google Home app, though it occasionally gets confused when my wifi cuts in and out.

I thought I could just plug it in and it would auto work with Alexa ... so I slowed down.... download the Insingia app & the skill ... set up in the app first then wow I love this and the price is right

I like it, I really do, it opened up the world for a smart room on a budget. hooking it up was long but easy steps. Sometimes it unlinks itself from my Wifi, I dont know why. they also just recently upgraded the app which is less glitchy and a cleaner look. unfortunitly in the last 24 hours it has given me problems

I bought this wifi switch to control outside Christmas lights from an outlet in the garage. The switch wifi range was great and the ability to set a schedule for automatic on/off was great...but the only downside, the reason it got 3 stars and not 5, was that the app requires you to sign into your best buy account and it constantly kept logging out. The app was also web based and not true app software. good product but better options available like the one from Belkin that I returned this for.

Generally speaking, this smart plug works OK (we have it connected to a lamp), but on occasion it loses contact with our Echo Dot. Even though Alexa says the light turned off, or on, sometimes it doesn't and we have to repeat the command a few times before it does. But in general we are happy with it.

What can I say this outlet works great with google home? Setup was fairly simple. Install the application from the outlet instructions, link it to google home, Christmas tree goes on and off . It's like a clapper but more better and more smarter :)

A great addition to a smart home. The plug is easy to set up to a smart system and the plug is easily controlled both manually with the button and through the app on your phone. It also connects easily to the Google Home for voice control configuration.

I installed it and it ran great for a day. Then it would not work. None of the fixes described in the manual worked. On line there were many others with the same non-connectivity issue but none had a fix. I almost returned it but I looked in my wireless network table and found the plug had the same IP as my phone. I hard assigned a new IP to the plug, rebooted it and everything worked great. I almost dumped it but my fix means I am happy with it. Runs great now.

I bought this outlet on Black Friday to control some devices in my home. I paired the device with my Google Home. While the outlet works, most of the time, it is very slow to respond to commands. The app also is pretty basic and does not allow for pairing to the Apple HomeKit. I would say that this is an example of you get what you pay for. This outlet was much cheaper than some alternatives but the performance issues might not make the cheaper cost worth it.

I've started outfitting my house with smart technology, and this was a good start. I like being able to control the light switch using the app, and now that I have Alexa, I can link it with that as well. Easy to set up too.

Not sure why users had problems with the plug. It was easy to setup under the app and connect to Google Home. However, it does take sometime to reset the device. I have four of these plugs to turn on my fireplace, Xmas tree and other appliances. Might purchases more or just get a smart outlet.

Bought this for my Christmas tree. You are able to create an schedule to turn on and off and can turn off it from anywhere by only using the Best Buy app. Now I use it to turn on my table lamp on a schedule so when I get home; there is light.

Lights are on when you want them and you don't have to go through the house turning them on, or off. It took a couple of tries to get the hang of connecting them, but I now have four on four schedules and they work great.

I really like this WiFi outlet. Not only is it compatible with Alexa, but you can also schedule the outlet to go on and off. Which is great to help cut down on the power bill when your kids and wife forget to turn things off when not in use.

I have bought this to use for a lamp, I am surprised how easy the setup was and I can advice to get this smartplug for turning lamps on and off with your voice. You can also turn them on & off on a distance with your smartphone app.

This item works perfectly. It is easy to use, connected to my network without issue. I have it set on a schedule on my phone, but I can change that any time with the app. It is very user friendly, and there have been no problems.

I purchased this product a month ago, the product works as expected with a minor issues. The wifi gets disconnected sometime, and you have to plug it off, and plug it back on for it to work. The insignia apps works well, and I have connected the switch to google home, which works great.

I got this on cyber monday to start some automation on my home, it works perfect on my holiday lights, i set up and schedule on the iphone app and set up was really easy to do it, Also it is compatible with my Google Home device.

It took a little while for the plug to connect to my wifi. I about gave up!! I tried the setup on my tablet instead of my phone & that worked better. After I was able to connect to my wifi, it has worked great! No problems at all so far & very easy to use with my Google Home.
