Fun simple camera, to take anywhere since its so portable. Camera quality and mic are good as well.

When it comes to capturing immersive 360-degree experiences, the Insta360 X4 camera surpasses its predecessors like the X3 with flying colors. Its ability to encapsulate every angle of a scene with remarkable clarity and depth is truly impressive. However, where it slightly falters is in its performance as a traditional action camera. In comparison to heavyweights like the GoPro Hero 12 or DJI Osmo Action, the quality doesn't quite match up. When the need arises for standard action shots, the clarity and smoothness provided by these rivals still reign supreme. That said, as a dedicated 360 camera, it shines. Whether you're capturing breathtaking landscapes or immersive experiences, its performance is commendable. Just bear in mind that if you require top-notch quality for traditional action shots, you might want to look elsewhere.

What an astonishing little camera! Being able to take photos or video on 360 degrees is amazing. Not only can you go back after and pull a standard photo or video from any angle, even just reviewing your photos and videos takes you right back to the moment with the ability to look around. Absolute magic!

Great value. If you’re on a budget and can’t afford the x5, this is a GREAT alternative. Very comparable to the x5 for a chunk of change less. I have both x5 and x4 and would easily recommend this to someone.

The 360-degree view gives a complete picture and makes everything much clearer. It helps spot details that are easy to miss otherwise and adds a lot of confidence while using or reviewing it. Overall, it feels practical, intuitive, and genuinely useful.

Bought this with worries of stability but it vastly exceeded expectations. Battery life is better than I thought it would be with dual cameras on. Got some of the best snowboarding clips I could get with this.

This is what an action camera is supposed to be! I have been using a GoPro for ages and this action camera took it over the top. We went snowboarding and this camera makes it looks like you have a personal camera man following you all over the mountains. Love it.

Im a DJ and motorcycle enjoyer, this camera works great in both environments, when shooting in lowlight it’s very important to check your settings and I recommend exporting from desktop with the highest bit rate possible.

You can get a suction mount from Amazon and use this as your Dashcam to allow you to record events from all directions. Would be best if you could set it up to record based on movement or sound so if someone came up to your car it would turn on automatically like a dash cam will.
