Installation

But the installer went to Lowes with me and I bought the line. He then installed it. When he left, there was still some plastic on the handles. Otherwise, a good installation.

did minimal work

All the hoses where in place so they did not much. They could have at least given me a discount on price since no work needed to be done. Now if they needed to do the set up from scratch, that I can not comment on.

Great installation!

Minus one star because the delivery did not come on its original date, came days later.

It could be operator error on my part with the refrigerator.

I have never had a water line ran so they had to make a new line they did it with ease fast not issues! Great service

Great Service

He was polite and respectful. He helped me transfer the contents of the old refrigerator by removing the bins. They moved our old unit into the garage and carefully brought the new one in and hooked it up. I was given instructions regarding certain features and told to dispense 5 gals of water before drinking it and to dump the first of the ice cubes. He also showed me how to shut off the icemaker.

POOR Install and worse follow up service

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have had a problem with the install of this refrigerator and are very unhappy with the Best Buy response. The water tastes very bad. After a couple of weeks of no improvement, we called Best Buy customer service. They told me it was a manufacturer problem and to contact LG. I called the number I was given and fairly quickly LG asks me if a braided stainless steel water line was installed. I told them yes. They told me that is a common problem and the reason for the bad tasting water. They DO NOT recommend the use of braided stainless steel water lines. They do not use this material inside the fridge for this reason. I called back Best Buy and asked them to change the water line, explaining what LG had said. After a long phone call, i was told it would be done and an appt was made for April 23. That morning i got a call about installing or exchanging the fridge from the company that did the original install. I explained to them what the issue was. He claimed they only use stainless steel and couldn’t offer pex, which is what LG suggested. I pointed out that the install was done against mfg suggested guidelines. Pex waterlines are readily available at any place that sells plumbing supplies. He said he would call Best Buy. I got a call back from Best Buy a few minutes later. The lady i spoke with acted like it was crazy to follow the mfg suggestions and that nobody has ever complained about a braided stainless stall water line. She was incredibly rude and obstinate. I told her that LG asked me right away what water line was used and said that braided stainless steel creates a bad taste as the water sits in the line and picks up this metal. I was told it is a common problem. She argued that info. I told her to call LG and hear it from them. That was the end of our service appt. I never heard back from anyone and it appears she closed the issue? That was 3.5 days ago. We paid for professional install and delivery. I don’t feel like I should have to go and buy the correct product myself and just throw away the incorrect item that i paid for.

Tastes a little odd

Fridge Installation

However there were able to Install the Fridge relatively quickly. I must say though that I was only given a 5 minute call ahead when they were on the way. They did call the day before and inform me that they would arrive between 7am-11am but doesn't narrow anything down

Second installer excellent

Had to call Best Buy to send another technician out to actually put a t-fitting which is better.

horrible customer

I waited 8 hours , 17 calls to the store all Hangups or not answer, Online chat horrible telling me there service was completed. No courtesy call saying they wasn't coming. I drive to the store lady with the pink hair playing on the phone before I has to clear my throat to get her attention. I asked for a manager she called and went back to playing with her phone. The manager came . I told him what was going on he is trying to tell me the service was completed... I don't care what your paper says no one came out and installed anything.. He tells me he is going to expedite the install they will call me in 24-48 hours.. Thats not expedited.. He told me the store doesn't answer the phones since covid. I said you don't answer the store phone, it sure doesn't look good when I walk into the the store and everyone is playing on their phone. THIS DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE.. The manager gives me 1800 number to call 10 more calls no answer. I lost full day of work. Paid $150 install and no one shows up. I now have to wait 24-48 hour for them to call me and thats expedited service.. I am sooo ANGRY!!!! I should be getting free install.

Installation had some gliches

Techs came to check out the problem and ordered and then installed a new ice maker which worked properly. Had o ice for almost 2 weeks.

New refrigarator.

I especially like the two pull out drawers right under the refrigerator. You can use one for produce and the other for deli items. It also has two pull out shelves in the freezer. The freezer is divided, which helps keep things organized. I had a stainless steel refrigerator . before that drove me crazy trying to keep it clean. It showed every finger print. This new frig. has a brushed stainless steel that can be cleaned with just a damp clothe.

Only qualms are the ice hopper is a bit small and the cubes are square and do not fit in some water bottles that have small openings.

Everyone was so helpful and professional and did such a great job !! So far I am very impressed with my new LG refrigerator. I had a Samsung refrigerator before but I am really happy I got an LG .

Refrigerator delivery

The team that delivered were nice and quick but put the door of the fridge on crooked, had to get a appliance service out to fix.
