One of my best kitchen purchases
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only used this item a few times, but I've decided it was one of the best purchases I have ever made. I prepared a roast duck, following Julia Child's directions of first steaming the bird then roasting it. Instead of oven roasting, I used the Instant Pot Oven rotisserie and produced my best duck ever. The meat was juicy and the skin was crisp. Using the rotisserie also helped to render additional fat from the duck. It is not a large appliance, but big enough for the two of us, and has the advantage of not taking up a lot of room in the kitchen. The Oven comes with cooking time recommendations, but I found them to be not very accurate. The best thing to do is use them as guidelines, check the food as it is cooking, then determine the cooking time you prefer. The product is well-constructed and has a number of useful features, although I haven't used most of them yet, so I can't comment on them. Even if you use it only for air frying and rotisserie cooking, it's worth the money.

Horrible fryer

Died after two years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this at the end of 2021 for my wife for Christmas. We didn't really use it much the first year, but by year two we were using it fairly consistently. It worked decently well for certain types of foods, though the top rack would always get away crispier than the middle rack so you had to juggle and switch the racks during cooking many times if you wanted an even crisp. However, just today it was running and all of a sudden decided it didn't want to work anymore. Turned off and will not turn back on. I've never had a kitchen appliance go out after just 2 years of use. We have an old school as seen on TV air fryer that uses a basket that we got years before this one and it still works fine. I cannot recommend a product from this brand name that will give out after such a short period of time.

BS that will not stop

Was not impressed
