A: Thanks for your question! The models you're asking about, the Vortex Plus and the Vortex Pro, are very similar in their functions. The Vortex Pro has two extra functions added: Proof and Toast. Q: How do you clean up after use ?
A: Hi Jack. Great question! The Vortex Pro is very easy to clean with just some warm soapy water throughout the Cooking Chamber which includes the heating elements, surrounding area, and interior walls. The door is removable for easy cleaning, and we recommend wiping down your door with a damp cloth. It is not submergible or dishwasher safe. The cooking trays, drip pan, rotisserie basket, rotisserie lift, spit and forks are all dishwasher safe.
Q: Does this unit blow hot air while cooking fr sides or back. Is it hot to touch?
A: Thanks for your questions! While operating, hot air will come from the vents. There should always be 5" of space around and above the Vortex to ensure proper ventilation.
