My grandma would never teach me to use on the stove. Well I’m a great grandma now so decided to try!! Works the Best also as a slow cooker which is my favorite! 10 stars 5 thumbs up! Oh and very easy to clean. Wish I had of maybe bought the ?? That drops down from top and the ?? That you can put in rice or vegi’s . But I didn’t buy so that would be y mistake.

Instant Pot is really a great product. Easy to use with great results almost every time. Bought this for a friend but have had one almost from the time they came out. Wonderful for so many foods and saves a lot of time.

With a little help from YouTube I was able to setup and cook within minutes. Seriously, I made a chicken taco bowl in 12 minutes and chicken lo mein in four minutes. I’ve also made a crustless (keto) cheesecake. It’s amazing to throw recipes together and dump them into the pot. MINUTES later and I always open the pot with amazement. To be shocked and surprised that everything is cooked thoroughly and delicious. BEST BUY EVER!!! Amazing product!!

There is no good cooking guide that comes with this so it's confusing at first as to what cooking methods do or don't (or should or shouldn't) be used as a pressure cooker versus a regular cooker. I had to do some Googling to figure a lot of that out.
Once you get over the learning curve, it works great. Used it to make Chili and to make Boiled Peanuts! Boiled Peanuts are one of my favorite Southern Treats and normally it takes 8-10 hours boiling them on the stove. But using the Instant Pot as a Pressure Cooker you can accomplish the same thing in about 2 hours. Definitely a great buy that will come in handy over time.

I love my Instant Pot! I can't believe it took me so long to give Instant Pot a try. After my nephew broke my crockpot bowl I decided to replace it with an Instant Pot. And Baby I had been missing out! No more 8 hours in the slow cooking roast for this Creole Diva. No more worries about anyone breaking my ceramic bowl LOL. So many different things can be made in it. The Instant Vortex Plus is on my wish list next!

The pressure cooker has come a long way since its days as a stovetop vessel that relies on steam to cook food under pressure. It's an effective and efficient way to cook food, but the vessel comes with risks if not handled properly. Things go bad very quickly when the pressure valve isn't released all the way before opening the lid. If you avoided using a pressure cooker for this very reason, you're not alone. The good news is, technology has created a whole new way of pressure cooking. Cook your food fast, with less energy use, and get the most out of your ingredients with more nutrients and flavor retained. Prepare your ingredients, place them in the cooker, and follow the instructions for timing and settings. Electronics monitor the temperature to keep it steady while pressurizing the interior of the cooker once things are ready to go. All you have to do is make sure you release the valve and pull out your fully-cooked meal when the timer goes off. Check out our curated selection of pressure cookers from top brands and add one to your kitchen. Your meal planning and preparation will take off in ways you never thought it could.

I had it for a few weeks and have Cooked Corned Beef and Cabbage in it and it took 80 minutes plus about 5 minutes to get up to temp. It was simple and the I cooked Carrots and Potatoes in 15 minutes . It is really nice , But I am still perfecting recipes in it. I think I will use it alot and already see so much potential for making many meals in it. I do recommend this brand and size . I really enjoy it .

I can't believe I never knew about this and then that it took me so long to get one. It is amazing. Everything I have made in it so far has been top notch and FAST! I order out a lot because I am too tired to prep and cook and don't want to wait that long for my food. There are a ton of recipes (and healthy to boot) that can be prepped and cooked in less than 30 minutes. LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing.

Our family has a variety of Instant Pots and they are all excellent quality and (when you can get them on sale) no more expensive than other brands. I would recommend this model if you can find it at the sale price of $50 - it was a one day sale. It's not one of the higher models in the their line, but still has plenty of features and is the same excellent quality we've come to expect.

Love this machine! Just got this a few hours ago. I decided to make chicken noodles. I took out 2 large frozen breast and tossed them in the cooker at 14 minutes pressure cook. I also tossed in salary, onions and all the ingredients-knorr chicken broth powder, ground cumin, sea salt, pepper and garlic powder. After it cooked for 14 minutes I added the noodles and set the pressure mode for about 5 minutes. Well, my wife and kids agreed that it was their best chicken noodle experience to date! Lol. We love it!

I have the instant pot IP duo that I have been using for a long time now and I bought this one for the sous vide function. If this performs like my other one, then I would highly recommend it. Plus the price was too good to pass up. I am also looking forward to trying out the cake setting. I haven't had a single problem with my IP DUO and I don't anticipate any problems with this one.
