This review is only for the heater/ax module and app. The product works as described. The app itself isn't the best. It needs to be cleaned up and a little more appealing. There is a bout a 1-3 minute delay from when you turn on the heater or ac from the app. The thing I didn't realize is that this hub is compatible with all the other options like dinner switches but I bought it purely for the ac/heater. The add on accessories are pretty pricey but would be cool to have. When you open the app you have to click on the device you want to use which is annoying if you only use one like I do which is the ac/heater. Overall the product works. The installation instructions sucked and figuring out the wires took a few minutes but i i figured it out. Overall it does the job but I'm sure there are cleaner better products out there. This one I got for 99$ On the daily deal.

Good remote thermostat & info on conditions at a 2nd home or home while on vacation. Temperature and humidity shown and allows one to change the system from heat, cool, fan and of course temperature. Light controllers are dimmers. Works with MAC IOS but final set up details required a 10 min promptly answered tech call. They say a PC will do compleate set up? It is a Heat/Cool thermostat, does not control a Heat Pump without something like an EMC HVAC system controller. Easy install, good directions, and tech help. Many remote controllers and sensors available, including Video and water detector. Heat pump thermostat is biggest miss in their offerings. Insteon, step up! Compatible device may be available elsewhere. Great value when on sale, only 4.5 stars because of PC setup software requirement.

I have done a lot of researching on home automation kits anf I have to say that this is a great DIY kit. It was easy to setup in my home for the thermostat and also used one of the dimmer plugs for my Christmas tree lights. Just an fyi for accessing from outside your home network, you need to open a port in your routers firewall. Other than that it has been awesome!

This is my second Insteon comfort kit. They will definitely save on heat and air conditioning cost. This is designed to replace a five wire thermostat. If you have a four wire system you will need an adaptor.

I have an apartment unit that shares an HVAC zone with the main level of my house. The apartment does not have a thermostat so this was a great solution. Once installed, my tenants could change the temperature through the app, although it isn't too reliable so I decided to order the Insteon wireless thermostat that is linked to the Insteon thermostat that is on my wall. The downsides: 1) the instructions are poor, especially when it came to programming the thermostat, 2) the app did not consistently work, and 3) I still have not yet been able to control the thermostat when I am not on my network, e.g., when I am not in my home and want to change the temperature before I get home.

Poor documentation and difficult to setup. Directions are not complete or accurate

Bought this for my Florida home. Unfortunately it doesn't work on heat pumps. Seems silly that an energy saving thermostat won't work on one of the most efficient heating systems? If you have gas or electric strip this is a great option...

I was going to buy a Nest Thermostat and then I saw this for just $99 on BestBuy. Got the thermostat with two light controllers and the hub. What a value. I am kind of technically inclined so the setup was a breeze for me. I have had this for more than a month now and I added two water leak sensors to it has well. I am very happy with the purchase.

Basic get started kit. Cannot add much else to review.
