Bought this to speed up my aging, custom self built, core i5 based system, and it made a huge difference in startup time and read/write speeds. Firstly - The Intel disc cloning software from intel's website did not work when I tried to clone my old HDD to this SSD. It refused to allow me to start the cloning process. I had to use a free software called AOMEI partition assistant and in about 45 minutes I was up and running like new. I had already purchased the Sandisk SSD from Best Buy for my laptop prior to this and should have went with that one instead for my desk top, its rated a little faster for speed.

I replaced my old drive with this drive, and it's lightning fast. Was super easy to install and runs like a dream. Great purchase!

These Intel SSD's are rock solid. I used this SSD to upgrade an ASUS Notebook I purchased at the same time. I will continue buying Intel SSD's.

I bought this ssd to install my OS on and some programs and games and it has worked excellently. I went from a 1tb regular old hard drive to this ssd and I can't believe I went so long without one. My computer starts up and is ready to immediately open programs in about 10 seconds.

To be honest, this isn't the cheapest, fastest, or largest solid state drive. I have used many SSDs at my job (IT). I got this drive because I needed it in a pinch and Best Buy does not carry the brand of SSD I prefer to use. I will say that it performs well, better than most drives. So far there have been no issues from this drive. It's definitely faster than the fasted hard drive, as is expected of SSDs.

This drive is easy to install if you have installed hard drives in the past. The software works good its fast and easy to use. I'm using it as my main drive for my OS it boots quickly and has been solid so far.

Easy to install, comes with everything necessary to install in a laptop or a desktop and even comes with a cable to transfer data from your old hard drive to the new SSD. Very fast!

This Intel drive was a very good purchase, as it was very easy to install and has significantly improve the performance of my PC running Windows 8.1/windows 10.

I find this hard drive to be durable and fast. Would recommend this drive as long as you catch it on sale. Good value if you can get it around 100 bucks.

No complaints, new Intel SSD runs as well if not better than my current SSD's. All the drives in my PC are SSD's and definitely the way to go given the all around speed.

The Intel solid state drive is reliable and fast. Computer performance got improved a lot.

This drastically improved the speed of my Mac. I should've replaced it sooner. For now on, all my hard drives will be the Intel SSDs. If you need a faster computer, I highly recommend replacing the hard drive first with a solid state before buying a new computer. For price and quality, you can't beat this drive.

Intel solid state drive, easy install, access to drive mirroring software, everything went flawlessly. purchased drive to clone my windows 8.1 system prior to updating to windows 10. Windows 10 is on solid state drive, windows 8.1 is on original hard drive for computer. All programs transferred along with registry. Drive itself is quick, have not had any issues.
