Great CPU for all regular tasks as well as most games. Runs Super cool with single/dual tower CPU coolers, XMP is enabled for Z490 boards and stays really cool and quiet during a variety of workloads.

Great i7 model. It does it's job. It's enough for mid to high end PCs. A great Processor if you're looking into Intel chips.

It has been an amazing experience using this cpu and it has been a very good fit for my mid price range gaming pc.

8 core for a good price. Uses same energy as my 7 year old cpu that only had 4 cores (triple performance).

For my purposes, this CPU does a great job. I have it paired with an RTX 3080 and have no complaints regarding the performance in gaming. If I were to do it over again, I would probably go with the 10700K which you can overclock, but since I am not really much into overclocking, it does not make that much of a difference to me.

Price to performance is great! Definitely a better option than a 9th gen imo.

I bought this processor to replace an i5 kaby lake. I have no reason to overclock so did not get the k version. Overall it's much faster than what I had and noticed that my old processor was a bottleneck for my gpu since frame rates improved.

Absolutely amazing core I7 with an Insane psychical 8 cores. This is a better value buy than getting the unlocked series in my opinion since you save power consumption AND this comes with a cooler already where as the unlocked K doesnt. I've been having an impeccable time using this bad boy.

It does come with a stock fan cooler, but I replaced it with a budget fan cooler. Temperature not bad compared to K series. Although it is not K series, it performs great and fantastic. It keeps around 4.6 MHz under load. I don't use it for heavy gaming, so it works great.

Yes the AMD 5000 series do beat this out. But try and buy a 5800x, 5900x or even a 5600x. Still this is a solid processor on a stable platform. Just because AMD beats it does not mean it isn't good. Intel really did improve thermals at long last. Paired with an msi meg z490 meg unify, 32 gb ddr4 3200 c14 ram it does what I need it to do. And the price drop on this because of the recent release of the 11th gen processors makes this a good buy.

I've been using this cpu for ages now, its fantastic, cold (with an aftermarket cooler), quiet, but its starting to show its age with no PCIE 4 support Might be upgrading to 13th gen when its released Still a fantastic CPU that will grind through pretty much everything super quick, so I might wait for 14th gen before changing motherboards (again lol)

This was a huge upgrade from my i5 chip, im not sure the number to it. I do regret not getting the unlocked model to get the most out of it, but this definetely keeps up with with an i9 in almost all tasks.

This processor is lightning easy and everything that I was hoping for upon purchasing. Great investment worth every penny. Added nicely to my new MSI board with no problem on the installation as it was smooth and easy.
